'Those who murder elected PM': Priyanka Chaturvedi mocks Bilawal Bhutto's ‘buzdil' speech; slams Pakistan in Brussels

NEW DELHI: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi on Wednesday delivered a scathing rebuke of Pakistan and its political-military establishment during a public address in Brussels, targeting former Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari without naming him. Referring to Bhutto's remarks, Chaturvedi said, 'The person who is leading the delegation, in his parliamentary speech, said 'Kon raat ke andhere mein hamle karte hain, Buzdil raat ke waqt hamle karte hain'... 'Buzdil' are those who do a coup on an elected government and after sending them to jail, murder the elected Prime Minister, so that the army can control the government.' Her comments referenced Bhutto's remarks on India's military response to Islamabad's terror attacks. Chaturvedi flipped that accusation, linking true cowardice to Pakistan's history of military coups and political assassinations, including the killing of Benazir Bhutto and the ousting of Imran Khan. In a sharp critique of the Pakistani state's support for terrorism , she called on the international community to confront Islamabad's role. 'It is high time that we ask the international community to stand up in unison and call out this kind of terror activities emanating from Pakistan... by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Promoções imperdíveis de voos baratos Voos | Anúncios de Pesquisa Saiba Mais Undo Pakistan has become a hub, the economic model to use terrorism as a way to try and hold the world to ransom... Call them out in the UNSC... till you don't call them out, this is a failed fight against terrorism that the European Union is running. ' She highlighted India's resilience against Pakistan across fields—from military conflict to cricket—saying, 'We have decades of experience of showing them their place. Our armed forces have defeated them, we have defeated you in cricket, trade... How many more times do they want to get humiliated by us?' Her remarks came as part of an all-party parliamentary delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad currently touring Europe, including Belgium, to raise concerns about terrorism and highlight the Indian position on global platforms. The delegation includes BJP and Congress leaders, along with former diplomats, and is engaging with EU officials, think-tanks, and diaspora communities. The diplomatic effort follows the recent terror attack in Pahalgam and India's subsequent airstrikes on terror bases in Pakistan and PoK.

Didn't do well in NEET? Here's why your medical dream doesn't have to end

NEET 2025 has just wrapped up, and while lakhs of students finally get a chance to relax, a large number are left with a different feeling– that of uncertainty. After months, or even years, of relentless studying, test series, coaching classes, and sleepless nights, it's natural to worry about your performance. Medical aspirants often stake a great deal on this one examination. Operation Sindoor Blackouts, sirens & Pak's failed attacks: 10 things that happened in the last 36 hrs '1971 war was not remotely as terrifying': Residents of border areas shell-shocked 'Buzdil' PM can't even take Modi's name: Pak MP slams Sharif in national assembly Families rearrange finances, students put their social lives on hold, and entire routines are built around this single goal of cracking NEET and securing a medical seat in India. But with the sheer scale of competition, even the best efforts don't always lead to the expected outcome. The numbers speak for themselves In 2025, more than 23 lakh students appeared for NEET-UG, competing for approximately 1 lakh MBBS seats available across government and private medical colleges in India. That's about 1 seat for every 23 students, making it one of the most competitive exams in the country. While many candidates manage to make the cut, there's an equally large number who don't. But that doesn't mean that their dream ends here. A world beyond NEET: Looking at global medical opportunities The path to becoming a doctor has evolved significantly in the last decade. With globalisation, improved mobility, and internationally recognised accreditation systems, aspiring doctors today have options beyond the conventional route. Several world-class institutions abroad offer alternate medical pathways for Indian students, without the need to lose a year or compromise on the quality of education. These pathways often provide a broader worldview, advanced clinical exposure, and preparation for licensing exams in countries like the USA, UK, and Canada. Whether it's Europe, the Caribbean, or parts of Asia, more students and families are considering global medical education as a smart, future-ready investment in a student's career. What to look for in a global medical program When evaluating international medical options, it's important to consider a few key factors: Accreditation: Is the university recognised by global and local medical boards? Clinical Exposure: Does it offer clinical rotations in reputed hospitals abroad? Licensure Preparation: Will the curriculum prepare you for USMLE, PLAB, or other international exams? Student Support: Are there scholarships, mentoring systems, or academic guidance tailored for Indian students? Graduate Outcomes: What do alumni go on to achieve? How strong is the residency match rate? A closer look: Manipal's American University of Antigua (AUA) College of Medicine One such globally-aligned program that checks all these boxes is Manipal's American University of Antigua (AUA) College of Medicine. Established in 2004 and part of the Manipal Education & Medical Group, AUA has grown into a leading international medical institution that specifically supports Indian students in their ambition to practice medicine abroad. A blended, global learning journey AUA's unique pathway allows students to begin their medical education in Manipal, India, through a pre-medical program at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). From there, students continue their pre-clinical studies at the AUA campus in Antigua, a safe and serene island in the Caribbean known for its high standard of education and living. The real differentiator, however, lies in the clinical rotations, which are offered in top hospitals across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and India. This diverse exposure helps students develop the skills required to adapt to different healthcare systems and patient care models. World-class infrastructure and support The AUA campus in Antigua is equipped with cutting-edge anatomy labs, simulation centres, and digital learning resources. With small class sizes and individualised academic mentoring through its Education Enhancement Department (EED), students receive focused attention throughout their journey. What's more, the program is fully accredited and aligned with global standards. It's approved by the New York State Education Department, recognised by the Medical Board of California, and accredited by the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education in Medicine and Other Health Sciences (CAAM-HP). Noteworthy student outcomes Over 4,000 successful graduates 94% residency match rate (2025 NRMP cycle) Graduates matched across 137+ residency programs in 35 U.S. states and Canada Alumni placed at leading hospitals including Johns Hopkins, Robert Wood Johnson, Virtua Health, and Jefferson Health 98% USMLE Step 1 and 93% Step 2 CK pass rates (first-time takers, April 2025) Your Medical Dream Starts Here! Hear from those who've done it To help prospective students and families get a first-hand view, AUA is hosting a live webinar on Thursday, 15th May at 4:30 PM IST. In this session, Shraddha and Niveditha, current Med 4 students, will share personal insights into their AUA journey, why they chose this route, how they prepared for USMLE, and what their day-to-day life looks like as international medical students. Register now to watch it live. Holistic admissions approach AUA follows a well-rounded admissions process, assessing candidates not just on NEET scores, but also on academic records (10th and 12th), letters of recommendation, entrance test scores, extracurricular activities, and personal interviews. This opens the door for highly motivated students who might not have scored well in NEET but have the drive and aptitude to succeed in medicine. Applications are now open for the August 2025 intake. With the draft knocking on the door, the Dallas Cowboys continued to churn their rosters by picking up the best shots. The Cowboys have agreed to offer one one-year contract deal to offensive lineman Saahdiq Charles . The 25-year-old and former Washington Commanders has retired in the month of August 2024 after signing with the Tennessee Titans . Saahdiq Charles is back in the NFL! Know the offensive guard's career history From a very surprising angle, Charles had walked out of the Cowboys just last week and did enough for the team to offer him the contract, according to media reports. Charles was also selected by the Washington Commanders in the 2020 final draft, fourth round. The offensive guard was also a member of the famous 2020 championship team, which consisted of Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Justin Jefferson . He played 8 of 35 games with Washington for the four seasons. Charles faced a setback when he was hit by a knee injury, which was a challenging time in his career. During his college days, he was a left tackle for the 2019 LSU National championship team. His record is extraordinary as he was the second free agent for Dallas on the offensive line, after veteran Robert Jones. Charles's performance used to be considered as one of the best in college football history. With the new move, the Cowboys and Charles believe in developing strong on-ground skills and with a 6'4, 320-pound frame as a good starting point. The Cowboys hold the 12th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Also read: Jaguars' QB Trevor Lawrence optimistic about 2025 return despite ongoing rehab from shoulder surgery

Gintama: The Anime Where Chaos and Comedy Collide Brilliantly

Credits: Crunchyroll In the world of anime which is flooded by high-stakes battles, emotional arcs, and dark fantasy, Gintama stands as an unapologetic wild anime series where some things make sense but at the same point they don't. It's an anime that breaks every rule of normal anime—and then also mocks the fact that there were rules to begin with in the first place. From emotional gut punches to laugh-out-loud ridiculously, Gintama has earned the title of one of the funniest, most unpredictable anime ever made. Gintama first aired in 2006, the anime adaptation of Hideaki Sorachi's original manga Gintama may seem like just another quirky comedy at first glance. Operation Sindoor Blackouts, sirens & Pak's failed attacks: 10 things that happened in the last 36 hrs '1971 war was not remotely as terrifying': Residents of border areas shell-shocked 'Buzdil' PM can't even take Modi's name: Pak MP slams Sharif in national assembly But the deeper we go, we'll find a series with razor-sharp sarcasm, heartfelt storytelling, and an ability to blend different genres more easily than perhaps any anime before or since. It's mainly a show where aliens invade Edo-period Japan, where the hero wields a wooden sword, and where nothing—and no one—is ever safe from parody and mockery. Gintama: A story that doesn't play by the rules At its core, Gintama follows Gintoki Sakata , a silver-haired samurai with a sweet tooth and an allergy to seriousness. Together with Shinpachi, a straight-laced teenager, and Kagura, a superhuman alien girl with a bottomless appetite, Gintoki runs the Yorozuya—an odd-jobs agency that takes on whatever task pays the rent (and rarely does). Credits: Crunchyroll by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Learn How Smart Traders Use Data to Navigate Volatile Markets News Portal Try Now Undo On paper, it sounds straightforward. But Gintama quickly throws convention out the window. One episode might parody Dragon Ball Z , while the next dives into a full-blown samurai battle filled with tears and trauma. You could be laughing hysterically one minute and choking up the next, a tonal whiplash that's somehow always smooth. The genius of Gintama lies in this balance—its refusal to pick one lane, and its ability to make that chaos work. The show's comedy is legendary, ranging from slapstick to fourth-wall-breaking madness, often poking fun at the anime industry itself. It's also densely packed with Japanese cultural references, historical satire, and toilet humor—all somehow coexisting without feeling out of place. But what really elevates Gintama is its emotional depth. When it does get serious, it hits hard. Arcs like the Shogun Assassination and Farewell Shinsengumi prove the series can match any shounen anime in terms of stakes, character development, and emotional payoff. These arcs are full of heartbreaking twists, high-octane battles, and complex moral dilemmas—yet never lose sight of the absurd humor that defines the show. An epic legacy of laughter—and loyalty Spanning over a decade, Gintama has aired more than 350 episodes, numerous OVAs, and several films—including Gintama: The Final , which wrapped up the anime in 2021. Despite its offbeat style, it has built a loyal global fanbase who rewatch episodes not just for the plot, but for the jokes they missed the first time around. Credits: Crunchyroll Its animation studios changed over time (Sunrise, Bandai Namco Pictures), but the spirit remained the same—chaotic, heartfelt, and deeply original. The series has even been praised for how it handles satire and parody without ever losing its sincerity, a rare balance that few shows manage to pull off. While Gintama is technically over, fans still revisit it for comfort and laughs, and newcomers continue to discover its unique appeal. With streaming platforms keeping the entire series accessible, Gintama remains timeless—a series that embraces imperfection, unpredictability, and the full spectrum of human (and alien) emotion.
