Factory oven fire swiftly contained by workers in KKIP

Published on: Mon, Jun 09, 2025 Text Size: The burned oven. - Pic by JBPM KOTA KINABALU: A fire broke out involving a cooking oven at the C&F Enterprise Sdn Bhd factory in KKIP Selatan on Monday afternoon, affecting about 20 per cent of the unit. The incident was reported at 2.22pm and brought under control by 3.02pm after factory workers used 15 fire extinguishers and a hose reel to put out the flames before firefighters arrived.
