The hotel filed plans back in October 2023, and Carden Park described the lodges as being 'a complementary and suitable addition to the wider hotel complex'. Advertisement The Cheshire hotel on Broxton Road will operate the lodges on an 'owner-occupied basis', rather than renting them out to holidaymakers. Carden Park is very popular with visitors which is proven by its Tripadvisor rating which is 4.3 out of 5, with almost 8,000 reviews. One wrote: "Wow! This place is one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at." Another added: "The spa complex with outdoor garden was superb, it felt like we were on holiday abroad." There's also a huge climbing wall, zip line, high-wire courses and a 10-metre freefall jump.
