Blumhouse Reveals Trailer And Poster For ‘Black Phone 2'

Blumhouse has revealed the first poster and trailer for its highly-anticipated sequel to its hit horror thriller The Black Phone. The news was revealed Sunday at the CCXP Festival in Mexico City. Scott Derrickson returns to direct Black Phone 2, the sequel to the supernatural horror film that grossed $161M globally. Four-time Academy Award nominee Ethan Hawke returns to the most sinister role of his career as The Grabber seeks vengeance on Finn (Mason Thames) from beyond the grave by menacing Finn's younger sister, Gwen (Madeleine McGraw). The cast includes Oscar nominee Demián Bichir as the supervisor of the camp, Arianna Rivas as his niece, Miguel Mora as the brother of one of The Grabber's victims, and Jeremy Davies, returning as Finn and Gwen's father, Terrence. The film is produced by Jason Blum, Derrickson and Cargill. The executive producers are Adam Hendricks and Ryan Turek. Blumhouse Announces First Spanish Language Original Film ‘No Me Sigas' From Directors Ximena and Eduardo García Lecuona

Blumhouse joins forces with Maligno Gorehouse, Wild Sheep Content, and Edge Films on the company's first Spanish-language original film, No Me Sigas. The film stars Karla Coronado, Julia Maqueo, and Yankel Stevan and will be directed by Ximena and Eduardo García Lecuona. Plot details are unknown at this time. The film was shot entirely in Mexico City and will be released theatrically by Cinépolis in Mexico. Yara Sameh Blumhouse unveiled the first poster and trailer for "The Black Phone," the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2021 supernatural horror film that grossed $161M globally, at the CCXP Festival in Mexico City on Sunday. The Grabber locks Finney in a soundproof basement, where nobody can hear him or come to his rescue. The only item is the basement is a disconnected telephone that begins ringing. When Finney answers it, he realizes he's able to communicate with the spirits of the Grabber's deceased victims. The kids' ghosts teach Finney how to survive and fight back, and he's able to escape the Grabber's clutches in the end. Ethan Hawke returns as The Grabber in Blumhouse's 'The Black Phone 2'

Blumhouse has released the official trailer and poster for The Black Phone 2, the sequel to its global supernatural horror hit. The reveal was made on June 1 at the CCXP Festival in Mexico City. Directed once again by Scott Derrickson, the follow-up to the 2022 film continues the haunting story of The Grabber. Photo: Blumhouse Ethan Hawke reprises his chilling role as The Grabber, returning to menace Finn (Mason Thames) from beyond the grave. This time, his vengeful focus expands to Finn's younger sister, Gwen, portrayed by Madeleine McGraw. The story deepens the supernatural threat as the past continues to torment the present. Joining the returning cast are Oscar nominee Demián Bichir as the camp supervisor, Arianna Rivas as his niece, and Miguel Mora as the brother of one of The Grabber's former victims. Jeremy Davies also returns as Finn and Gwen's troubled father, Terrence. New additions include Maev Beaty and Graham Abbey. The film is written by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, based on characters created by Joe Hill, and produced by Jason Blum, Derrickson, and Cargill, with Adam Hendricks and Ryan Turek serving as executive producers. The Black Phone 2 is scheduled for theatrical release on October 17, 2025.
