Coroner ID's motorcyclist who died in collision at Hwy 43 intersection
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner's Office identified the motorcyclist who died in Shafter after being struck by another vehicle on Monday.
Bryant Kenneth Chavez, 22, of Shafter, was driving a motorcycle on Highway 43, south of Burbank Street in Shafter at 3:45 a.m. May 19, officials said.

17 News previously reported Chavez failed to completely stop at a posted stop sign and was struck by a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. Chavez died at the scene, according to the coroner's office.
