Missing man with dementia last seen on West Side: CPD
CHICAGO — A search is underway this week for a missing man who Chicago police say suffers from dementia. Officers say they are searching for 75-year-old LC Scott, who went missing on Monday. LATEST CASES: Missing people in Chicagoland The missing man has dementia and was last spotted leaving the 4900 block of West Iowa Street in South Austin on the West Side. Scott, who stands 5-foot-7 and weighs around 200 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. A photo provided by Chicago police of the missing man shows him with a mustache, though it is unclear if he had one at the time of his disappearance. Authorities provided details about the missing man's disappearance in a news release sent out on Tuesday morning. Woman missing for over 2 weeks last seen on West Side
CHICAGO (WGN) — A search is underway this weekend for a woman who officers say has been missing for over two weeks. Chicago police say 61-year-old Carolyn Hollins has been missing since Wednesday, April 30. LATEST CASES: Missing people in Chicagoland Officers said she was last seen around 1 p.m. on that day in the vicinity of the intersection of West Douglas Boulevard and South Homan Avenue, in North Lawndale on the West Side. Police say the missing woman, who has brown eyes and grey hair, stands 5-foot-7 and weighs around 210 pounds. She was last spotted wearing a black coat, white t-shirt, black pants, and black gym shoes while carrying a black book bag that contained her identification. Authorities provided details about the missing woman's disappearance in a news release sent out on Friday afternoon. A photo provided by Chicago police shows Hollins wearing a pair of black plastic-framed glasses, though it is unclear if she was wearing them at the time of her disappearance. According to Chicago police, 69-year-old Joseph Kent has been missing since Monday, March 31. He was last contacted on that day around 12 p.m. LATEST CASES: Missing people in Chicagoland Officers said the missing man was last spotted on Sunday, March 30, in the 500 block of North Lawndale Avenue, in Humboldt Park, on the city's West Side, a neighborhood officers said Kent is known to frequent. Kent, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs around 165 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair. Additionally, officers said the missing man is missing his front teeth. A photo provided by Chicago police shows Kent with grey and black facial hair, though it is not clear if he had any at the time of his disappearance.
