Here's How Much the First Off-Road-Focused Honda CR-V Costs
Eagerly awaiting the official price of the 2026 CR-V? Okay, there might not be legions of fans holding their breath here, but the '26 model year sees the introduction of the CR-V family's first-ever off-road-focused model, the CR-V Hybrid TrailSport. And now we know how much that version, along with the rest of the lineup is going to cost. While new standard features and a new trim do bring value, prices across the lineup rise.

According to Car and Driver, the base price of the 2026 Honda CR-V—the non-hybrid LX trim—rises to $32,315, an $865 increase versus the 2025 model. You'll also find that the 2026 EX non-hybrid model sees nearly the same increase, costing $34,545 ($845 more than 2025) while the richest non-hybrid, the EX-L, now costs $36,795, only $445 more than the previous model year.
Hybrid power enters the 2026 Honda CR-V lineup in the Sport trim, which carries a new price of $37,025 and bumps the entry-level cost of electrification by $1,025 versus 2025. The Sport L is the next trim level up and it's now $40,120—a bump of $1,120 over 2025—and the trim topping Sport Touring is now $43,645—a $1,195 premium over the 2025 Honda Sport Touring.
Of course, the big news is the new-for-2026 Honda CR-V Trailsport, the off-road focused version of the popular hybrid crossover. It curiously skips many of the key upgrades found in Honda's other TrailSport models, including a suspension lift, trail rash guards, and more. Instead, the 2026 CR-V Trailsport is just a CR-V with unique wheels and Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrain tires. Honda kinda, sorta priced it accordingly, slotting the CR-V TrailSport ahead of the Sport L with a price of $40,195, but not at the top of the line like in other TrailSport models. You're paying $75 more for what is, ostensibly, an appearance package and why we still question the use of the Trailsport naming here.
We'll add that while these numbers are being reported by Car and Driver, Honda has not officially released pricing for the 2026 CR-V, CR-V Hybrid, and CR-V Hybrid Trailsport. We've asked Honda for the official numbers and will update this story when we get them.
