The Sony Bravia 7 QLED got an 8 out of 10, and every size is on sale
This article contains affiliate links; if you click such a link and make a purchase, Digital Trends and Yahoo Inc. may earn a commission. We here at Digital Trends always keep our eye on the three leading TV brands. In no particular order, we're talking about Sony, Samsung, and LG, but today, we'd like to focus the spotlight on the company that's had its foot in the TV game the longest: Sony. If you haven't heard, this week the manufacturer has discounted every size of its popular Bravia 7 Series QLED, including the 55-inch version. Purchase at Best Buy, Crutchfield, Walmart, and a handful of other retailers, and you'll take home the 55-inch Sony Bravia 7 QLED for only $1,300. The full MSRP on this set is $1,600. BUY AT CRUTCHFIELD BUY AT BEST BUY BUY AT WALMART We tested the Bravia 7 back in November 2024, and editor at large Caleb Denison said, 'The Bravia 7 has insanely great picture quality.' When it comes to picture processing and upscaling, it's tough to beat the power and performance of Sony's Cognitive XR processor. The Bravia 7 delivers excellent picture quality and intense SDR brightness levels. Viewers can also expect a wide color gamut with rich, lifelike tones and a solid contrast ratio. While the viewing angle and glare reduction could be a bit better, neither minor issue is enough of a deterrent for us. The Bravia 7 features HDMI 2.1 connectivity on ports 3 and 4, as well as VRR and ALLM support, making it a great choice for console and PC gamers. The TV has a native 120Hz refresh rate and fast response time, too, so you shouldn't see any motion blur when watching or playing fast-moving content. We're also glad to report that the TV supports every HDR format except HDR10+. Apps, casting, and smart home controls have been made possible by Google TV OS, Sony's choice for UI and web-connected features for the last several years. We wish the Bravia 7 would stay on sale forever, but chances are it'll be back to full price before we know it. So, go ahead and save yourself $300 when you purchase the Sony 55-inch Bravia 7 Series 4K QLED today! Get this awesome Samsung soundbar while it's under $300
This article contains affiliate links; if you click such a link and make a purchase, Digital Trends and Yahoo Inc. may earn a commission. At some point, you're going to have to accept the fact that the speakers built into your super-thin TV just aren't very good. Sure, you can literally hear what the characters on your favorite show are saying, but the rumble and immersion of true surround sound isn't possible. Fortunately, soundbars have gotten pretty dang advanced over the last few years, and some of the best models can actually virtualize a larger and more detailed soundstage. One of the best brands for home theater soundbars is Samsung, and while looking through soundbar deals, we came across this gem of an offer: For a limited time, when you purchase the Samsung HW-B650D Soundbar at Amazon, Best Buy, Crutchfield, and a handful of other retailers, you'll only pay $250. The full MSRP on this model is $300. BUY AT CRUTCHFIELD BUY AT AMAZON BUY AT BEST BUY When it comes to stereo performance, the B650D doesn't mess around. Thanks to its built-in center speaker, dialogue and vocals get the attention they deserve, while the front left and right channels cast a wide net of audio. There won't be a bad seat in the living room when you use the B650D, and thanks to Samsung's Adaptive Sound Lite, the soundbar will automatically adjust its output based on the type of content you're watching. The B650D features Samsung's Game Mode, too. When enabled, synced directional audio will move in unison with the characters on the screen. The included subwoofer also does a great job at enhancing lower frequencies, giving your AV setup the rhythmic punch it deserves. We also love the fact that there's a Bluetooth input, so you'll be able to pair up and play tunes with phones, tablets, laptops, and more. It's hard to say how long this discount is going to be in town, but we'd be willing to bet the savings will be gone by week's end. That being said, we recommend buying ASAP. We also recommend taking a look at our lists of the best Samsung deals and best Samsung TV deals for even more markdowns on top Samsung tech. BUY AT CRUTCHFIELD BUY AT AMAZON BUY AT BEST BUY

This 65-inch Sony Bravia TV just dropped below $1,000
This article contains affiliate links; if you click such a link and make a purchase, Digital Trends and Yahoo Inc. may earn a commission. Sony has always been a recognizable name in the world of TVs, and the company's longstanding reputation for high-quality LEDs and OLED models is a calling card that's hard to ignore. Sony TVs look and sound fantastic, but many of the best models are locked behind some pretty tall paywalls. Fortunately, we're always on the lookout for Sony TV deals, and we came across this terrific offer earlier today: Right now, when you purchase the Sony 65-inch X90L 4K LED at Amazon, Best Buy, Crutchfield, and a handful of other retailers, you'll only wind up paying $850. The full MSRP on this model is $1,150. We tested this TV back in 2023, and editor at large Caleb Denison called the Sony X90L 'A surprising treat of a TV.' BUY AT CRUTCHFIELD BUY AT AMAZON BUY AT BEST BUY Even though it doesn't use any type of mini-LED lighting, the Sony X90L punches far above its weight class when it comes to peak illumination. This 4K LED delivers some of the best specular highlights we've seen from a TV at this price point, and it brings solid SDR brightness to the table, too. This makes the X90L a great choice for a brightly lit room, as it'll have zero issues overcoming glare. It's also a great TV for a darker space, though you may occasionally deal with some blooming issues (mostly around subtitles and captions on a dark screen). Thanks to HDMI 2.1 connectivity on ports 3 and 4, VRR and ALLM support, and a fast response time, the X90L is an excellent TV for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC gamers, too. The X90L also has a couple of PS5-exclusive picture features, including Auto Genre Picture Mode and Auto HDR Tone Mapping. Apps, casting, and smart home controls are made possible by the X90L's built-in Google TV OS, which also gives you access to hundreds of free live TV stations, Google Cast capabilities, Google Assistant, and more. Save $350 when you purchase the Sony 65-inch X90L 4K LED today. Still looking for great TV promos? Save on Samsung: Take $200 off the 55-inch S90D OLED, but act fast!
This article contains affiliate links; if you click such a link and make a purchase, Digital Trends and Yahoo Inc. may earn a commission. Brands like Samsung dominate the world of TVs for good reason. This longstanding developer of LEDs and OLEDs has been churning out some of the best TVs on the market since flatscreens were a thing, and today, we'd like to draw attention to one of our favorite Samsung TVs of 2024, the S90D QD-OLED. Right now, when you purchase the Samsung 55-inch S90D at Amazon, Best Buy, Crutchfield, and a handful of other retailers, you'll only pay $1,200. The full MSRP on this model is $1,400. BUY AT CRUTCHFIELD BUY AT AMAZON Buy at Best Buy The Samsung S90D is a thing of beauty for several reasons we'd like to dish about. For starters, the TV's QD-OLED display combines the self-emissive pixel tech of traditional OLEDs with the enhanced brightness and colors that only quantum dots can deliver. That's on top of Samsung's phenomenal picture processing and 4K upscaling, leaving you with a final picture that's brilliant, sharp, and lifelike. We were impressed at how well the S90D holds up against glare in a brightly lit room, and the TV's terrific HDR support delivered extra-impressive highlights, making it an excellent choice for Netflix and Hulu streaming in 4K. The S90D also features HDMI 2.1 connectivity on all four ports, as well as VRR and ALLM support. This makes the TV a solid choice for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC gamers. The S90D's Tizen OS handles apps, casting, and smart home controls, and the included remote can be recharged via solar or USB-C. It's hard to say how long this discount will hold out, so your best bet is to buy ASAP if you're interested. Take $200 off the Samsung 55-inch S90D OLED when you purchase today.
