Zero percent tuition increase approved by Concord University Board of Governors
ATHENS, WV (WVNS) — A zero percent tuition increase request was approved by Concord University's Board of Governors for the 2025-2026 academic year.
According to a press release, the decision is one of Concord University's ways to get rid of financial barriers that students may face.

The press release stated that as part of the CU Ascend Capital Campaign, more than $4 million for student scholarships was raised by the Concord University Foundation over the past four years.

Students from West Virginia can get their degree tuition free with the CU Free Program if they are eligible for the Pell Grant and meet other requirements.
Out-of-state residents can qualify for tuition reduction programs offered by Concord University, and accelerated learning opportunities such as CU Rise, which can help students finish their degrees early, helping the students save money and time.
