Give us a Twirl: Cadbury launch new limited edition bar
Cadbury have announced the release of a new limited-edition chocolate bar, their latest take on the popular Twirl.
The Twirl bar normally consists of of a crumbly flake on the inner layer covered by a rich milk chocolate coating on top.
And now Cadbury have devised a way of including white chocolate, as they bring out the Twirl White Dipped edition. Twirl White Dipped. Pic: Cadbury
Cadbury describe the new bar as having 'fast-melting swirls, the intense chocolatiness of the white chocolate dip' while they also add that the product 'won't be on the shelves for long'.
They say limited quantities will be available nationwide in grocery and convenience stores 'soon', with the new treat retailing at €1.75. The discontinued Flake Snow – or 'Snowflake' – was a white chocolate-centred version of the Twirl. Pic: Cadbury
Séamus Harahan, Confectionary Lead at Cadbury Ireland commented: 'We know how much people in Ireland love a Cadbury Twirl – it's one of our most iconic bars. Over the years, limited editions like Twirl Orange and Twirl Mint have proven just how excited Irish fans get about new takes on a classic.
'With the launch of Twirl White Dipped, we're offering something a little different – smooth white chocolate wrapped around those familiar milk chocolate swirls.
'It's a fresh indulgence we think people will really enjoy, but it won't be around forever – so don't miss out!'
