ELKINS, (WBOY) — If you're looking for the perfect place for some dulces internacionales—or international sweets—Mora Bakery is the way to go.
Mora Bakery of Elkins is bringing you the love of homemade sweets with an international twist, as mother-and-daughter duo Neyla and Vanesa Mora opened the bakery to bring the community something new.
The family's love for baking started when Vanesa was only 15, when her mother Neyla made her a birthday cake. Since then, the idea of a storefront has always been a dream of theirs.
12 News spoke with Vanesa about their favorite aspect of owning a bakery.
'Creating every single item, every time we make a new cookie and stuff like that, is really exciting, and we just love to be able to come up with ideas and create. It is just really nice to be able to share something that we love with the community,' said Mora.

Mora Bakery features fresh breads and pastries made daily, alongside a variety of different milkshake flavors, like chocolate-covered strawberries and dulce de leche.
Vanesa even took inspiration from her son and created a variety of different fruit drinks made from fresh fruits like pineapple, passion fruit, and peaches without any added sugar.
Mora also spoke with 12 News on some of the fan-favorite items within the bakery.
'We do have the tres leches as one of our biggest cakes. It is so moist, it's a really rich cake. We also have our famous cookies. They're filled cookies. We do have pastries, we have pepperoni rolls, we do, like, ham and cheese. We try to bring different things every week,' said Mora.
You can also find Argentine cookies and pastries at Mora Bakery, alongside custom cakes, cupcakes, and more. For those who are gluten-free, they've even got some options for you, too.
Mora Bakery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is located at 102 2nd Street in Elkins. You can keep up with the bakery through its Facebook page.
