Caister-on-Sea GP surgery to remain shut over mystery illness
GP surgery to remain shut over mystery illness The Caister Medical Centre in the coastal village closed for a second time on Tuesday A GP practice will remain "closed until further notice" due to ongoing safety concerns, the owners have said. Caister Health Centre was first closed on 29 April after 16 people fell ill, and again on Tuesday as a "precautionary measure". Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service previously said it was working with gas engineers at Cadent and Anglian Water to work out the source of the problem in the coastal village. A spokesperson for the health centre said patient appointments would be rearranged at other surgeries, and that patients would be contacted with further information.
