The Blue Angels wrapped up the first air show of the season held onboard Naval Air Facility El Centro in California over the weekend. Now the U.S. Navy Flight demonstration pilots have their eyes locked onto the California Capital Airshow, which will be held in Sacramento, California, March 22-23. This will be the Blue Angels' second appearance at the Capital Airshow since it was established in 2004. The Blue Angels will headline the California Capital Airshow this year, flying alongside a handful of other military and civilian demonstration teams, including the USAF F-16 Viper demo team and the USAF C-17 Globemaster III demonstration team. Here is everything to know about the Blue Angels air show in Sacramento. The Blue Angels will perform at the California Capital Airshow on March 22-23. Gates will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with performances happening from noon to 4 p.m. Air show organizers won't release a schedule until the morning of the air show due to security, safety, weather and operational concerns. The Blue Angels don't have a designated flight time, but visitors can expect them to be the last demonstration team performing for the day. Tickets are only available online; you won't be able to purchase them in person at the gate on the day of the show. General admission tickets start at $50 and include free parking. One general admission ticket will permit entry to one adult and up to six children ages 15 and under. You'll need to sign up to become an air show insider to purchase tickets. Here's a look at what each ticket will get you: General Admission: Parking and admission for one adult and up to six free children (ages 15 and under). Mather Club: Parking, shaded tent to beat the heat and oversized front yard with a great view of the show. Good for one day only. Youth ages 3 and older will need to purchase a ticket. The Hangar: Experience the Rancho Cordova Barrel District with unlimited drinks from four local breweries, two distilleries and one winery. Parking, shade structures with table & chair seating plus an oversized front yard with a great view of the show is also included. Good for one day only. Youth ages 3 and older will need to purchase a ticket. Flight Line Club: Parking, complimentary water, lemonade and ice tea, buffet dinner, shaded tent to beat the heat and oversized front yard with a great view of the show. Good for one day only. Youth ages 3 and older will need to purchase a ticket. Capital Club: Sold out for both days. First Class: An ultra-premium/exclusive Airshow experience. Organizers took the best parts of Capital Club tickets and raised the bar on food, drinks, and comfort. Includes pilot meet and greet, plus other special First-Class only surprises.
