Man arrested for ‘indecent exposure' in Ebbw Vale town
Reports of a man resisting arrest near Church Street were first received May 3. Locals claimed to have saw a police car 'bombing' through the town centre and 'someone kicking off' after being detained in a police van. It was later revealed that the incident took place at a commercial shop address. Gwent Police said: 'At around 9.25am on Saturday 3 May, we received a report of indecent exposure inside a commercial address in Church Street, Ebbw Vale. 'Officers attended and a man was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure. 'The man was released with no further action taken.' Indecent exposure is a crime under Section 66 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, and punishable by up to two years in prison on conviction.

(Image: Callum Morgan ) Three people were arrested after a fight broke out outside a pub in a Welsh town centre. Witnesses say several police cars were called to the scene of a "mass brawl" outside Morgan's Wine Bar in Ebbw Vale on Saturday night, April 19. Videos circulating online show the bar's windows being smashed and people lying in the road injured. Onlookers posted on Facebook comparing the scene to "something out of the Wild West." One witness, who has asked to remain anonymous, said it all started due to a confrontation inside the bar. They said: "It was like something out of EastEnders with fists going through windows and then a chair. A fella was getting punched and there was blood everywhere - he was in and out of consciousness for a bit. Article continues below "Even the DJ legged it from there but came back when it had calmed down. The pub was on lockdown, they locked the door because of how bad it was." Gwent Police confirmed they were called at around 9pm to a "disturbance" at the wine bar on Bethcar Street in the town centre. The 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and criminal damage and was released after receiving a conditional caution. A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "We received a report of a disturbance outside of Morgan's Wine Bar in Ebbw Vale at around 9.15pm on Saturday April 19. "Officers attended and a man and a woman in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of assault while a 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and criminal damage. Morgan's Wine Bar declined to comment.
