Make a hotel stay extra fun for your kids with the InterContinental New York Barclay's springtime camping package. The Camp Barclay special, geared to families with children up to 12 years old, includes an in-room tent with cozy blankets and pillows, a stargazing projector, camp pajamas (preordered to fit), a s'mores campfire playset, and some edible delights — and accommodations in a suite. The Colonial-style hotel, located in Midtown at E. 48th Street and Lexington Avenue — within walking distance of Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square, and Grand Central Station — makes a great spot for a family getaway. It offers 702 spacious guestrooms and suites that offer a cozy residential feel (think wingback chairs, big bureaus, and an in-room coffee station). Grab light bites or a full breakfast in The Parlour off the main lobby — or anything from a salad or locally sourced oysters to filet mignon for dinner. Club InterContinental members can access a lounge that serves breakfast, afternoon snacks, and hors d'oeuvres — great nibbles for all ages — free-flowing coffee and soft drinks throughout the day, and gelato-on-demand (ready in 60 seconds). The package runs March 20 through Sept. 1, based on availability and with some blackout dates. Rates start at $275 for the camping package.

This fleece-lined, waterproof, and breathable robe works great for throwing on after a workout, an adventure, or a dog-led stroll — any time of year. The robe keeps you dry when it's drizzling out and traps your body heat and keeps you toasty when you slip it on over wet paddling clothes, for instance (it also protects your car seats from getting soaked on the way home). Size up and you'll have plenty of wiggle room for changing out of a wetsuit or bathing suit while still being protected from the wind and cool temps. The robe has fleece-lined handwarmer pockets, a chest pocket (great for stashing keys), an internal pocket that's big enough for a bottle of tea or hot water, and an adjustable hood. It's also made with 100 percent recycled polyester and a PFC-free waterproof treatment. It comes in unisex XS-XL, fitting people roughly 4 feet, 6 inches to 6 feet, 8 inches.
