Battle of the Badges blood drive returns
NORFOLK, Neb. (KCAU) — The Norfolk Police and Fire Divisions are back and ready to compete again to help the American Red Cross on Thursday, June 19, at Fire Station 1 in Norfolk.
Fire Chief Tim Wragge said, 'This drive will once again include a friendly competition between Police and Fire to see who can bring in the most donors,' in a press release. Wragge also emphasized the importance of the Red Cross's mission.

All blood types are needed. According to the release, the key characteristics for someone wanting to donate are: good health, at least 17-years-old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and want to potentially save up to three lives with a single pint of blood.
Channel excitement from summer camp and join the Red Cross for 'Camp Do Good' on June 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Anyone interested in donating blood is asked to visit the Red Cross website and schedule an appointment.
