St. Paul officially has one of the best mini golf courses in the country
Can Can Wonderland is getting attention for being a "delightfully bizarre entertainment center."
USA Today has placed the St. Paul arcade and mini golf bar second in its reader's choice list of the best mini golf courses in the country.
The course was the only one from Minnesota nominated by the publication's panel of experts earlier this year. That short list was then put up for a vote, which saw Can Can's fans turn out to push it up the final list.
The list, which includes courses in every corner of the country, praises Can Can's whimsical course for accepting the submissions of "artistic guests" to design holes like the Blue Toad with its tongue ramp and Hot Tub Time Machine's polka dot mastodon.
It's not the first time the arcade has attracted national attention. Just last year, it was featured in an episode of the History Channel's Pawn Stars.
