A young boy who was last seen leaving a home with a black duffle bag over two weeks ago has been found safe and well. The boy, whose age has not been released by police, was last seen leaving a Fanfare Place property in Capalaba about 10.40pm on May 9. His family reported him as missing on May 12. In an update on Friday, Queensland Police said the young boy had been located. 'The boy reported missing from Capalaba since May 9 has been located safe and well,' the update just after 5pm stated. 'Police would like to thank the media and community for their assistance.' Investigators earlier said the boy could be in the Kingaroy area in South Burnett.

Police issue urgent call to find boy who went missing in Capalaba
Police are urgently looking for a boy who has been missing from Brisbane's south for two weeks. The boy was reported missing to police on Monday, May 12, however was last seen on May 9 in Capalaba. Officers believe the boy could have travelled to the Kingaroy area. 'The boy, pictured, was last seen leaving a Fanfare Place address carrying a black duffle bag around 10.40pm and has not been seen or heard from since,' police said in a statement. 'Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his young age and length of time that he has been missing. 'The boy is described as Caucasian, approximately 167cm tall, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.' Police said their investigators believe the boy could be in the Kingaroy area. People with information about the boy or his whereabouts have been urged to contact Policelink.
