🏎️ The Detroit Grand Prix, which returned to downtown in 2023, has races and events downtown all weekend, culminating with the main race on Sunday from 12:30-3pm.

🎸 Tied Down Detroit, the city's annual hardcore music festival, is Saturday and Sunday at the Russell Industrial Center.
Turnstile was recently added as a headliner to the long list of performers.

🎆 Swing into summer with the 44th annual Capuchin Souper Summer Celebration at Comerica Park at 7:30pm on Saturday.
Entry is free and there will be food, drinks, music, a fireworks show and a live raffle for jewelry from AHEE Jewelers in Grosse Pointe Woods.
Dressy summer attire is suggested; 21 and up.
🍿 Prom horror flick "Carrie" is playing at the Senate Theater at 8pm on Saturday for a fundraiser to buy a new projector.
Tickets, $15; doors open at 6pm.
♟️ Play board games at Vault of Midnight's monthly board game event on Sunday from 5-8pm at Florian East brewery in Hamtramck.

🥦 Spring VegFest at Eastern Market from 10am-4pm on Sunday is a daylong plant-based food celebration with nearly 100 vendors, cooking demonstrations, a lineup of speakers and free food samples.

🎤 Detroit Diamond, featured on season two of Netflix's "Rhythm + Flow," is performing at El Club on Friday at 8pm.
