Seventeen's Wonwoo to enlist in April
Wonwoo of Seventeen will start his military service on April 3, agency Pledis Entertainment said Wednesday. He will not be able to join his bandmates for Tecate Pa'l Norte 2025 or the fan meet tour in Japan slated for April, but will be present at Carat Land, the band's fan meetup in Incheon on March 20-21, the management company reassured. He will be the second enlisted member of the 13-piece act, after Junghan who began his service in September 2024. The two formed a subunit and dropped the single 'This Man' in June last year, setting a first-week sales record for a K-pop subunit at 780,000. In the meantime, the band's 12th EP 'Spill the Feels' and fourth single in Japan 'Shohikigen' topped Oricons' Daily Album Ranking and Daily Single Ranking, both dated March 3. The mini album came out in October 2024 and the single in November.

SEVENTEEN's Wonwoo enlists in military on 3 April
5 Mar - SEVENTEEN's member Wonwoo is set to enlist in the military on 3 April. The news was confirmed by his management agency Pledis Entertainment on 5 March via their fan community Weverse, adding, "As previously informed, Wonwoo will participate in the Carat Land performance on 20 and 21 March without any issues and plans to continue to meet Carats through various pre-prepared content." However, the singer will not participate in the "Tekatte Pal Norte 2025" festival and the Japan fan meeting, as both activities will happen after his enlistment. The agency also stated that they will not hold any event on the day that he enters the training camp. "Please refrain from visiting the alternative military service location. Please leave your thoughts for Wonwoo through Weverse," they added. Wonwoo becomes the second member to get enlisted following Jeonghan, who enlisted in September last year.
