Greer – Carl Yuan shot a 3rd round 61 at Thornblade Club on Saturday to vault into the lead at 22-under par. Yuan bogeyed the first hole, then birdied 11 of his next 15 holes. He will take a 1-shot lead over 2nd round leader, Austin Smotherman into Sunday's final round. Boiling Springs High School alum Trent Phillips shot a 3rd round 70 and is tied for 15th.
