McDonald's Snack Wrap is returning to U.S. menus. Here's what to know.

McDonald's Snack Wrap, a gone-but-not-forgotten customer favorite, is returning to the fast-food chain's restaurants in the U.S. after a nine-year hiatus. The popular sandwich will reappear on menus starting July 10, according to an announcement by the company on Tuesday in which Joe Erlinger, president of McDonald's USA, stated simply, "It's back." Consisting of a white-flour tortilla filled with chicken, shredded lettuce and cheese, the Snack Wrap was introduced nearly two decades ago. However, the item was removed from McDonald's menus in 2016 because it was too complicated for its kitchens to prepare. Customers have been calling for the Snack Wrap's return ever since. In announcing the Snack Wrap's return, the company included a link to a webpage called which it describes as a "content hub for the most anticipated menu item of the decade." Featuring Snack Wrap wallpaper as its background, the promotional webpage includes various large folders users can click into. A folder entitled "Fandom," for example, houses screenshots of social media posts from Snack Wrap fans expressing their love for the food and asking when it would be returned to McDonald's menus. In one email, entitled "Snack Wraps for this Pregnant Lady," a McDonald's customer named Carli writes "my biggest craving is something I can't have. I am due July 14th, 2025. Will snack wraps be back before then? Please just give me a hint." "I've waited years and I'm getting mildly impatient" wrote another fan called "loyal snack wrap lover." Another, more proactive display of loyalty included a petition to bring back the Snack Wrap. The petition garnered nearly 19,000 signatures. Bringing back the wrap was a "years-long process," Erlinger told The Associated Press. In its revived form, the Snack Wrap will feature fried chicken and come in two flavors: Ranch and Spicy. This is a departure from the original version, which included a choice of grilled or fried chicken and sauce options like honey mustard and sweet chili. The simplified recipe is to ensure faster service, according to the company. The company has not revealed how much the Snack Wrap will cost, only that prices will vary depending on location. McDonald's also posted on the Snack Wrap's on its X account, thanking ardent fans for resurrecting the long-lost menu item. Breaking the fourth wall, the social media manager behind the McDonald's account addressed followers directly, reminding them that "social media managers don't control the menu," but rather its the fans who are to thank for the Snack Wrap's revival. Stated the post, "you created a movement. a movement so powerful that you finally won." Sneak peek: Where is Jermain Charlo? American tourist shares brutally honest review after visiting Kmart in Australia

American tourist shares brutally honest review after visiting Kmart in Australia An American traveller posted a TikTok video reviewing a Kmart Australia store The content creator's assessment of Kmart as 'budget' ignited Aussie shoppers READ MORE: A $30 Kmart item has been declared 'the cleaning find of 2025' An American travel blogger shared her honest thoughts on Kmart Australia stores – and her remarks ignited Aussie shoppers. Carli Rasschaert, a travel blogger who hails from Minnesota and is based in Seattle, shared a video of herself touring a Kmart Australia store in Brisbane while comparing it to equivalent mass retail stores back in her US homeland. In a TikTok video, which has amassed over 56,000 views, Carli explained that Kmart stores in America have a poor reputation, with many outlets even going out of business. 'Kmart pretty much doesn't exist in the US anymore because it was so bad. So this will be an experience for me,' the travel blogger explained. The content creator who writes for her Adventures With Carli travel blog explained that Aussies shoppers had recommended she check out the popular local chain store – insisting it was nothing like the poor-quality American version. Accordingly, Carli quipped in the video: 'I'm gonna say something I've never once said in my life - but let's go to Kmart.' But on arrival in the Brisbane Kmart store, Carli was initially underwhelmed. 'My first impression was, "Why is there so much stuff at the entrance?" Carli said in the video voice over. Carli Rasschaert, an American travel blogger who posts under the social media handle @adventureswithcarli, reviewed Kmart Australia after touring a store 'It felt really claustrophobic,' she added. Once inside the store, there were however elements that Carli liked. 'I did, however, appreciate that they had distinct vignettes and endcap displays and just better displays in general,' said the seasoned traveller. Carli also noted that the broad 'selection of products' available at Australian Kmart made it feel 'more like an [American] Target' store, which are hugely popular in the US. The blogger also called out a few key specific sections as standouts. 'My favourite part of the store was the beauty section. There were some fun finds like playful bath bombs and the cutest koala eye mask ever,' she said. 'I also appreciated the craft section,' added Carli. 'And the best find of the day was by far the disco ball pinata,' a gleeful Carli said while holding the decorative party item. Travel blogger Carli was underwhelmed by her Kmart Australia shopping experience, but did appreciate finds like a disco ball pinata Travel blogger Carli was underwhelmed by her Kmart Australia shopping experience, but did appreciate finds like a koala eye mask Carli concluded the video by saying: 'Overall, this was probably the best Kmart experience I've ever had. But the store was still pretty dishevelled and gave budget vibes.' 'But there were some good items that you can definitely find here,' she added. The video attracted hundreds of comments – with many patriotic Aussies defending the down under version of the mass retailer. 'Australian Kmart is amazing,' read part of one comment, adding that it is 'not related at all' to the US Kmart stores. 'Kmart in Australia is much better laid out then the American Walmart, Ross's etc,' declared another reply. But the gripe Aussie Kmart shoppers had with Carli's assessment was her negative use of the word 'budget'. 'Kmart IS budget! That's what we like about it,' asserted one reply. 'Kmart is a budget store in Australia. It sells dupes of higher brands,' read another comment. Carli Rasschaert refers to herself as a 'part time traveller', and shares details of her travels on her blog, Carli herself chimed in to the comments to explain further: 'Just because a store sells discounted merch doesn't mean it has to look budget.' 'It would have been better if it wasn't so messy, it definitely hadn't been organized in awhile,' she doubled down in another response. A select few commenters agreed with Carli's observation that Australian 'budget department stores cannot compare' with American equivalents like 'Walmart, Target, Ross for Less'. Carli created her Kmart review video in response to a previous video shared to her TikTok account where she'd visited a Target Australia store. In that TikTok video, which has been viewed over 76,000 times, she delivered a scathing assessment of the Australian version of the store, particularly when compared to the beloved American equivalent. 'Target lovers, I have bad news: the Targets are not created equally down here,' she said in the Target Australia review video. 'Imagine the saddest Target you've ever been to… this was worse,' Carli said in the social media video. 'To the Australians: you deserve better than this, or at least better displays and lighting at a minimum.'

Rassie Erasmus shares pride in netball star daughter

Carli Erasmus – the daughter of Springbok coach Rassie – has been making a big impact on the netball scene for some time, having worked her way through the Western Cape provincial ranks. Now participating in the new season of the Telkom Netball League, Carli has been playing for the Western Province Tornados in Division 2, and the 20-year-old continues to impress with her genetic sporting talent. This past weekend, Rassie watched on from the stands in support of his daughter, and highlighted how he was once again such a proud father. 'I just love the fact that this is a team sport and she's got teammates,' Rassie commented. 'It's the understanding of how to play in a team. 'Although I don't know all the rules that well, it's just exciting to watch. She is also a coach (at Stellenberg High School), and I'm very proud of her.' Rassie has become one of the most popular Springbok coaches of all time, and last in an interview with YOU magazine , his twin daughters Carli and Nikki admitted it was something special to see what he has achieved. 'He's truly a hero – there are even people who think he should be president,' Carli commented, while Nikki added: 'I'm not going to lie – we're very proud of him. He's really achieved something no one else could. 'He's always been a bit of a joker, I think he's good at reminding people he's just human. He can be funny and make mistakes.' Meanwhile, Nikki is currently dating Stormers and Springbok forward Andre-Hugo Venter, which also received the firm approval of her twin sister. 'The great thing about the two of them is they're really good to other people,' Carli stated. 'They genuinely want everyone to feel included in everything.' WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS WHOLESOME STORY? USWNT legend Carli Lloyd leads National Soccer Hall of Fame's 2025 class

Carli Lloyd took her place among the greats on Saturday, when she was formally inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Frisco, Texas. The 42-year-old Lloyd, who led the United States women's national team to two World Cups and two Olympic gold medals and who was twice named by FIFA as the best women's player on the planet, was elected in a first-ballot landslide. Lloyd was enshrined on Saturday along with longtime Major Leage Soccer deputy commissioner Mark Abbot, former USMNT standouts Chris Armas and Nick Rimando and former goalkeeper Mary Harvey, who won a World Cup and an Olympic gold with the USWNT in the 1990s. Legendary broadcaster Bob Ley was also inducted but missed the ceremony because of a knee injury. All of them are fully worthy of the honor. Lloyd, however, was the clear headliner of the class of 2025. Once famously cut by the U.S. under-20 team, the New Jersey native and Rutgers University alum re-dedicated herself to her sport and turned herself into one of the greatest players of all time. Despite spending much of her 17-year international career as a midfielder, her 134 goals rank six all-time at the highest level, men's or women's. Lloyd scored the winning goal for her country at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, and netted an unforgettable hat trick in the 2015 Women's World Cup final, snapping a 16-year title drought for the most successful program in history. Only two players, men or women, appeared in more international matches than Lloyd's 316. "There was no greater honor than wearing the red, white and blue," Lloyd said on Saturday. Along the way, Lloyd's relentless quest for greatness became lore. It had a darker side, though. Her dedication to her craft was all-consuming. Sometimes it rubbed teammates the wrong way. She was estranged from her parents and siblings for more than a decade after letting "a trainer into my life that over time created a wedge between me and my family," she said. "I just was constantly grinding away," Lloyd told FOX Sports last month. "I had this addiction of just knowing that I had to, and could, improve in so many different ways as a player." Soccer came before everything — before her husband, Brian Hollins, and before her lifelong dream of becoming a mother. On Saturday, Lloyd called the birth of her daughter, Harper, six months ago her "greatest accomplishment." Before giving her speech, Steve Lloyd, Carli's father, introduced his daughter at the dais and fitted her into the red blazer that all Hall of Fame inductees receive. "It was important for all of us to be here this weekend," said Steve, who was joined in suburban Dallas by Carli's mother Pam, sister Ashley and brother Stephen. "What makes it so much more special is that it was so important for Carli to have us here." An emotional Lloyd then took center stage. "I've spent a lot of time thinking about what I wanted to say today," she said. "I knew I didn't need to stand up here and talk about how much I love the game, or how hard I worked. Most of you already know that about me. What I wanted to share wasn't from a perspective of a competitor, but as a person, a human being." "I wish I had let more people understand me over the years," she continued. "I operated like an emotionless machine. I was intense, and I truly believed that the only way for me to survive in such a cutthroat environment was to be that way. So to my teammates, I want to say this: I'm sorry I wasn't always able to give you all of me." Still, Lloyd insisted that she has no regrets. "As lonely and difficult as the journey was at times, I would do it all over again," she said. "Yes, it was extremely hard. There were countless sacrifices along the way, but every bit of it was worth it because I loved the game. "There was nothing I loved more than winning," Lloyd added. "But winning comes at a cost, and I paid that price. Yet in return I gained more than I ever could've imagined." Camilla 'stormed out' after Charles 'went on and on' about BBC actress' legs

Camilla reportedly stormed out of an event after King Charles wouldn't stop commenting on an actress' "very sexy legs". The then Prince Charles of Wales, had met Carli Norris, known for her roles in EastEnders and Doctors, after watching her perform in The Chiltern Hundreds in London's West End. After the show, Charles complimented Carli on her legs, telling her: "You've got very sexy legs." Carli recalled the incident in a recent podcast, saying: "Prince Charles was walking around, introducing himself to everybody and he came up to me and he shook my hand and he went 'You've got very sexy legs'. I went 'oh thank you, your highness'." However, during a dinner with Charles, Camilla, and some of the cast, including lead actor Edward Fox, Camilla reportedly became frustrated with Charles' continued comments about Carli's legs. Carli, who starred in Hollyoaks until late 2013, said: "Apparently, Prince Charles was going on and on about my legs so much that eventually Camilla slapped her knife and fork down and said 'oh for goodness sake, Chas, will you stop going on about that gal's legs? !' She left the room and stormed out." Edward informed Carli about the incident the next day before another performance of The Chiltern Hundreds, where Carli played June Farrell, a millionaire dressed only in hot pants, reports the Mirror. In a candid chat on the podcast Chicken Soap for the Soul, hosted by former Doctors star Elisabeth Dermot Walsh, actress Carli revealed she was stunned to be included among 100 "national treasures" at a Buckingham Palace event for the Queen's Jubilee. She originally assumed it was a "joke" but ended up attending with her daughter in 2022. Carli remarked, "When you think of national treasures, you think of Judi Dench, don't you, and Elton John... I am not a national treasure," highlighting that she was chosen by a committee. Jokingly, she suggested her invitation might have stemmed from Prince Charles seeing her in 2016 during a West End performance, musing: "I can only imagine, Elisabeth Dermot Walsh, that Prince Charles has been following my career and he is the one that wanted me sitting near him for his mummy's Jubilee, that's what I can imagine." Notably, Charles ascended to the throne later after Queen Elizabeth II passed away. During the same episode, Elisabeth quipped that Carli should be on the lookout for a damehood after such an esteemed event. The conversation also touched on Carli's stint in EastEnders as Belinda Peacock, who is the second youngest Slater sister, a role she took on back in 2016 when she was up for Funniest Female at the Inside Soap Awards.
