Students who placed first through third in their respective categories earned automatic invitations to the state-level ACTM competition, which will take place on April 26 at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. These top performers were also recognized with medals and cash prizes.
This marks the fifth consecutive year that Caroline Neeley organized the event at SAU, with invaluable support from faculty members who assisted in exam administration and logistics. The ACTM Math Contest has been a longstanding tradition in Arkansas for over 50 years, with SAU proudly serving as a host site for at least 40 of those years.
