Caroline Sunshine: This Is Why You Don't Put Two Betta Fish In The Same Bowl

Former Trump 2024 Campaign Deputy Communications Director Caroline Sunshine joins Fox Across America With guest host Paul Gleiser to give her taken on the explosive and public squabble between President Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk. 'Elon mentioned, you know. President Trump wouldn't have won the election if it wasn't for me. I spent $300 million. If it was not for me, the House and Senate would look different right now and President Trump would not have been elected and that is just objectively not true. Kamala Harris' campaign spent $1 billion. Go ahead and ask everybody who donated hundreds of millions of dollars to her how it works out. You cannot buy an election alone. That belongs to a talented candidate with a great message. And if President Trump wasn't as talented as he was, didn't have as compelling of a message he was. It wouldn't matter if you spent a billion dollars on him, it wouldn't have meant if you spend five billion dollars of his campaign. So Elon's wrong to take the credit there because that credit doesn't belong to him. But I do think it's a testament to the strength of our government that, you know what, unless you're the president of the United States, the will of the American people who elected him, those things matter when it comes to how we pass our laws and what goes into those bills. And no matter how wealthy or powerful you are, you're still a private citizen. You're still not above the law. You don't have more influence than the rest of the American public. And again, I think that's a testament to President Trump for all of the corruption criticism that he's taken. That's just clearly not true.' Caroline Sunshine On The Future Of DOGE Post-Musk 'Ethos Should Remain In Our Federal Government'

Trump 2024 Campaign Deputy Communications Director Caroline Sunshine joins Fox Across America With guest host Paul Gleiser to give her take on Elon Musk's departure from the Department of Government Efficiency, and the impact he's had on highlighting wasteful government spending. 'I think DOGE's mission and ethos will remain. I know that Doge has staffers now in every agency in the federal government, but I think it's a lesson sometimes in humility, I guess is the lesson I would say for our listeners in that, I know we all know that the bloat and the spending in our government is bad and it's wasteful and it's corrupt and we think we have a full picture of just how bad it is, but I promise you, however bad you think it is it's 10 times worse. And what you're seeing, Elon came in with the goal of two trillion they've been able to do far less than that. It's just hard to grasp the enormity of the waste, fraud and abuse that exists in our government and the way that it is structured, and I have seen many a brilliant businessman, many a brilliant mind sort of be humbled at thinking they can apply the same ethos and the same logic that they use in their very successful private enterprises and apply that to the federal government and think that they can get the same result. Sometimes it works. Sometimes what you find is you've got a cutaway even more fat than you think. So I'm optimistic about the future of DOGE. I think that ethos should 100% remain in our federal government, and in our administration. And it's something the administration should double down on over the next four years, because I believe that's how long it's going to take to get this done and do it and do it right. Thus is the nature of the Leviathan of our government.' Caroline Sunshine On The Big-Tent Movement Trump Created Listen to the podcast to hear the full conversation!

Caroline Sunshine: It's Amazing To See What This New Administration Has Accomplished In Just One Month

Trump 2024 Campaign Deputy Communications Director Caroline Sunshine joins Fox Across America With guest host Joe Concha to talk about how President Trump and Congress can work in tandem over the next few months to adequately secure the U.S. southern border. 'I still always think the number one animating issue for President Trump, for his voter base, for the majority of Americans who voted for him, is immigration. And I think there's a lot that he can do within the executive branch and within his powers that are vested in the powers of the presidency. Absolutely. But there's also a piece of that where he needs Congress. And I think the mandate that he has, having won the popular vote, having won all seven swing states, he has the support needed in Congress to pass the most comprehensive, I don't want to call it immigration reform, per se, but certainly the most consequential immigration legislation that this country has probably had in at least the last 30 years. And the reason I say that's the most important is because I do believe if we don't have a border, we don't have a country. And that without the border be secured once and for all. The impact that it has on American culture going forward, then, has a trickle down effect on every single one of the other issues that matter most to Americans. So I think immigration is a promise that are looking forward to see President Trump deliver on and be able to do so, more this term than the previous term.'
