Theo Von was just spotted at this Miami restaurant. Comic had some unlikely companions
Random celebrity sighting alert in the 305: Theo Von. Before joining President Donald Trump on his trip to Qatar Thursday to perform for U.S. troops, the comic du jour was in Miami hanging with some famous locals. That would be POTUS' daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner. The first daughter shared a picture of the three of them seated at a meal at Casadonna, David Grutman's upscale eatery in the old Miami Women's Club space in Edgewater. We reached out the eatery's reps about when the meal occurred and did not immediately hear back. 'Miami looked good on you,' wrote the mother of three, who lives in nearby Indian Creek Village. 'Come back and visit us soon!' Vonn reposted the X, joking, 'Y'alls posture is so good. Wth!! Are y'all in spine club or something ??!! I'm built like a damn raccoon. Thanks for the hospitality. Had a blast.' Had no idea the onetime 'Road Rules' star was pals with the Kushners? Join the club. We may have to look to Ivanka's half brother, Barron, for the initial introduction to the Louisiana native, 45. The president said that last year his youngest son recommended he do Von's podcast called 'This Past Weekend' to gain a younger audience in the so called manosphere. 'Dad, you've got to do an interview with a guy named Theo Von,' Trump said in his own remarks Thursday. 'I said, 'Who the hell is Theo Von?'' The one on one episode aired last year while Trump was on the campaign trail, receiving close to 17 million views.

Trump's favorite podcaster brought further into fold after night out with Ivanka
Conservative podcaster Theo Von enjoyed a night out with Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner over the weekend. The unlikely summit took place in sunny Florida, shortly after Von's Saturday appearance at the Kaseya Center. The podcaster was seen taking selfies in the front of the packed Miami crowd before meeting up with the couple backstage. The trio posed alongside conservative political strategist Alex Bruesewitz. A series of photos posted to Ivanka's social media showed the intimate outing that ensued. The three dined on Italian at trendy Miami eatery Casadonna. 'Miami looked good on you @TheoVon! Come back and visit us soon,' the 43-year-former Trump advisor wrote on X. Ivanka, Trump's second child, wrote the same over a separate snap posted to Instagram. It showed the group seated just before their meal. Famed restaurateur David Grutman - the eatery's owner - comped the bill, Ivanka said. Unlike Von, she donned a dazzling black number. The comic, in contrast, sported his trademark scruffy mullet and a Hawaiian-style shirt. He's currently in the midst of his Return of the Rat Tour, after welcoming Donald Trump to his podcast back in August. The podcaster was seen taking selfies in the front of the packed Miami crowd before meeting up with the couple seemingly backstage. The trio posed alongside conservative political strategist Alex Bruesewitz During the appearance, the then campaigning conservative revealed that Ivanka's half-brother Barron was a regular watcher of the podcast, This Past Weekend. The spot was one of several said to have helped Trump's reelection effort, and saw the 45-year-old comic from Covington, Louisiana, extended an invite to the president's inauguration - where he accidentally broke a chair. Viral footage of the mishap showed the chair give out in the crowded U.S. Capitol Rotunda - as Trump could be heard in the background speaking. Von acknowledged the incident on X the following Monday, suggesting he had been the victim of a prank. In a less characteristic, more serious statement issued afterwards, the comic expressed awe at being included at all. 'Got a chance to go to the presidential inauguration today and I just cant believe I got to be at that,' Von wrote, months after his refreshingly frank conversation with the commander-in-chief. 'Some countries don't even let you vote.' '[I] just felt really lucky to see that.' Von called it 'an honor to meet with a former president' after welcoming a then-campaigning Trump to his podcast This Past Weekend back in August. He later appeared at the Republican's inauguration Since then, Von - who called it 'an honor to meet with a former president' - has been featured in prominent publications like The New York Times, which in April billed him as 'one of the defining conversationalists of media's new MAGA-friendly mainstream.' 'But he can be harder to pin down, politically and culturally, than his bro-cast peers,' the piece pointed out - citing 'humanizing' talk from the otherwise unserious comic. His sit-downs with Trump - and various figures from both sides of the aisle - have raked in millions of views, as a post-election 'red wave' in media continues to take effect. Von - was a former co-host of the podcast King and The Sting (and Wing) with Brendan Schaub and Chris D'elia - has hosted progressives like Bernie Sanders on his podcast as well.

EXCLUSIVE Ivanka Trump flaunts her trim pins as she soaks up the sun in floral mini dress to celebrate Mother's Day in Miami
Ivanka Trump was captured soaking up the sun as she celebrated Mother's Day with her family in Miami, Florida, on Sunday. The first daughter, 43, slipped into a stylish tropical print mini dress for the occasion - which appeared to be Farm Rio's $185 ruffle dress - as she set sail on a boat before later tucking into brunch. She finished the look with a wide-brimmed straw hat, beach style tote bag, cat-eye sunglasses and strappy white sandals. The mom-of-three appeared to be in good spirits alongside husband Jared Kushner as well as their kids Arabella Rose, 13, Joseph Frederick, 11, and Theodore James, nine. Ivanka tied her long blonde locks in a low pony behind her back but was forced to restyle it with a hairbrush after being buffeted by the wind. Ivanka and her family were picked up on the boat from their private dock at their $24 million home on Miami's famously exclusive Indian Creek Island before dining out at Italian restaurant Casadonna. ‘Rich kid' tried to force his way into David Grutman's Miami club. Things escalated
David Grutman always seems so calm, cool and collected. That's why it was surprising to see Miami's undisputed nightlife king getting into a heated argument with someone wanting to get into one of his clubs the other night. In a video making the rounds over the weekend, a man with a French accent outside LIV at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach screams at a bouncer that he needs to speak to 'the boss.' 'Rich kid talks down to David Grutman,' reads the text over screen. The boss appears and confronts the guy demanding entry. 'Next thing you're going to say is 'Google me,' right?' asks Grutman. 'Google me?' 'David, you know who I am!' screams the wannabe patron. 'So why are you making me stand here like a peasant?! Do I make you stand in Europe?' 'Nobody knows you in Europe, bro!' the hospitality giant responds. 'Unless you're with your father, nobody knows you!' As a few women in the crowd begin to look concerned, things escalate. 'I own Europe, you own Miami,' the individual yells. 'You think you're a badass?' 'I'm just Miami?' laughs Groot, who owns such sizzling hot clubstaurants as Komodo, Casadonna and Papi Steak, as well as LIV Las Vegas (not to mention a bar on a spaceship). The kid looks as if he's about to blow his top. 'If I don't get into this putain club in one minute,' he threatens, 'I'm gonna call my dad!' After some more chaos, the video ends, and we are left to assume that the obnoxious visitor got the boot. In the comments section, though, you quickly realize things are not as they seem. 'Love this... even though it's fake.' 'I can't believe I fell for this!' 'I hope everyone knows this is satire lol.' So who was the guest from hell? Drum roll... It was actually viral TikTok star Aris Yeager, aka @theeuropeankid, and the wild interaction at LIV was a skit. Grutman was in on the joke, says his spokesperson, who added that his client's social media channels are 'always so entertaining.' This is hardly Yeager's first rodeo. The 24 year old's shtick involves going around to various high end establishments playing an entitled, spoiled brat and causing a scene for kicks, giggles and views. Among his multiple pranks as his snooty character 'Louis:' He shoplifted caviar from a high end market because his credit card was declined; he demanded a watch from Jacob the Jeweler; and he attempted to give a toll taker a $100 bill. The dude is not French; the NYC resident was reportedly born in Greece, attending boarding school in Belgium and Northeastern University in Boston. Though not as wealthy as his snobby alter ego, the Gen Z-er is doing more than OK. As per The New York Times, he can make up to $30K per post. 'I recognize how preposterous it is. I just know exactly how to do this character,' Yeager told the outlet of his M.O. 'My whole life I've grown up in an environment surrounded by very pretentious, affluent kids who act a certain way. It's almost like I instantly know all the humor.' And most of the folks are in on the joke, anyway, so no humans get stressed in the making of these videos. That's a relief, because Yaeger just punked the world's top ranked female tennis player Aryna Sabalenka. After his stunt at LIV, Louis hit up a fancy sushi restaurant that appears to be Makoto Bal Harbour and tried to force the Miami Open winner to give up her table. A true pro in every sense of the word, Sabalenka laughed it off and then offered Louis a snack.
