Chiefs' Travis Kelce Slims Down With 'Bad Taste' And Bounce-Back Goal
The Kansas City Chiefs have one of the best tight ends of all time in Travis Kelce, but he did not meet his own high expectations for himself in the 2024 season. On a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, which Kelce hosts with his brother, Jason, the Chiefs star talked about his 2024 season. Specifically how he is looking to have a bounce-back year in 2025. Advertisement "I feel like I can still play at a high level, maybe even higher than last year," Kelce said. "I don't think that was my best performance. I think I let my teammates down more often than I helped them, especially compared to my track record and how I've played in previous years. I want to give it my all. I ended last year with a bad taste in my mouth because of how I played and the level of responsibility I had with those around me." Kelce has been one of the most consistent players in the NFL ever since he became the starter in his second season. But he had a streak come to an end in the 2023 season. The superstar tight end had a streak of seven straight seasons with over 1000 receiving yards from 2016 to 2022. But when in 984 yards in 2023 is a down year, that's when you know you're doing something right. Accord to multiple reports, the 35-year-old has lost 25 pounds so far this offseason, so he is hoping he can be back to his old self and get back over the 1000-yard mark. Advertisement The Chiefs lost in the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles this past season, so Kelce will be looking to help the team redeem themselves in what could be his final season in the league. Court Throws Out 'Potentially Libelous' Taylor Swift Extortion Claims From Justin Baldoni's Team
A federal judge has warned Justin Baldoni's lawyers against legal maneuvering that he said may be intended to 'promote scandal arising out of unproven potentially libelous statements.' U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman on Thursday struck from the court's docket a letter from Bryan Freedman, representing Baldoni, accusing Blake Lively's legal team of trying to extort Taylor Swift. Freedman claimed that the actress' lawyer reached out to an attorney at the law firm Venable, which represents the singer, and demanded that Swift issue a public statement in support of the actress under the threat of releasing personal text messages in Lively's possession if the request was refused. In the letter filed on Wednesday, Freedman said that a representative for Swift 'addressed these inappropriate and apparently extortionate threats' in at least one written message to Lively's legal team. He moved for access to those communications since they'd substantiate claims that Lively is intimidating and coercing witnesses in the sprawling legal battle. Additional details weren't provided beyond an anonymous source 'highly likely to have reliable information.' Michael Gottlieb, a lawyer for Lively, denied the accusations. In Thursday's ruling, the court stressed that it has the authority to strike filings in the case that are 'abusive' and 'improper.' He said that the letter invites press uproar by suggesting that Lively and her lawyers attempted to extort a high-profile celebrity. Allowing the filing to stand would allow the court's docket to serve as a 'reservoir of libelous statements for press consumption,' Liman wrote. Lively's lawyers argued that Baldoni's legal team filed the letter to launder defamatory allegations about the actress through the case. Under New York law, there's immunity from liability for press in connection with reporting about filings and proceedings in court. A representative for Lively declined to comment. The letter was filed days after after Swift was subpoenaed by Baldoni's legal team. Her involvement in the dueling lawsuits relates to an incident in which Lively invited the It Ends With Us director to her New York City home in 2023 to discuss changes to a rooftop scene at the beginning of the movie. Once there, Baldoni said he was ambushed by Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, and close friend, Swift, according to the lawsuit, which cites communications that include the name 'Taylor.' The megastars praised Lively's version of the scene, allegedly pressuring Baldoni to accept the revisions. NFL schedule release video rankings 2025: Which teams had best reveals?

The NFL content Super Bowl has arrived in the NFL with the 2025 schedule release. What was once just the release of the season calendar has turned into a chaotic, beautiful moment for all 32 squads. Teams go above and beyond to release videos that reveal the schedule in hilarious, dramatic format. Advertisement Is having a top tier schedule release video indicative of a successful season? Sort of. Last season, USA TODAY Sports ranked the Arizona Cardinals as the worst video release, and they missed the playoffs for the third consecutive year. But the second-worst Denver Broncos, made the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles had the third-best, and they ended up hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. The No. 1 ranked Los Angeles Chargers also made the playoffs. The Chargers have had the top video the past two seasons. Will anyone unseat them and claim the crown? Minecraft was a popular way to release videos. The Colts did not hold back with some of these jokes, and while some were exceptional, it resulted in the video getting deleted. The new video didn't do any favors. Maybe the film should've actually been short. 30. Cleveland Browns You're not the only one confused as to what we just witnessed. Dave Portnoy delivers an unfunny announcement that could put you to sleep. Just dudes being dudes, but unsure if this is a live stream worth watching. 27. Carolina Panthers Panthers players get some weight lifted off their shoulders, just in an unfunny way. While a cool look through the city, there's nothing special happening. A nice look through the Raiders headquarters with subtle jokes at opponents. Some people aren't great at acting. Kids falling always get some chuckles. This goes for the motivational route, and while the animations are incredible, it wasn't anything special. The drawings within drawings made for some wicked art-ception. As horrifying as it is, everyone's had these types of fever dreams before. Everyone wishes coaches would actually show an angry version of themselves, and the anger translator had some solid clap backs. 'Cash Cab' was an iconic show, and while there was some cool trivia sprinkled in, most were too easy. Jon Gruden unboxing videos unveil cool stuff and tidbits, and the former Buccaneer coach knows how to get people hyped. It was simple, but you're allowed to flex the Lombardi Trophy as Super Bowl champions. If these tattoos are real, then there's no denying the loyalty in Minneapolis. With the 50th anniversary of the team, Seattle goes with the old school action figure commercial. The villain figures were a creative way to make fun of opponents. One of the most iconic moments in the 'Scary Movie' franchise with some notable Texans fans. 13. Chicago Bears Always expect some shenanigans with Lamorne Morris. Mack Wilson definitely has some bars. This could be an anthem played during games. 11. Buffalo Bills Now this is the A.I. we want to see. Simple and a great twist. Getting the social media star of 2025 in Ashton Hall to do his routine? The Jaguars definitely put at least 10,000 on it. 9. Washington Commanders Some good spots with an amazing game in Roller Coaster Tycoon, but felt like it held back on some teams. 8. Los Angeles Rams Brenda Song knows ball, and 'The Daily Show'-style had some clever jokes. 7. Tennessee Titans Tennessee captures how every NFL fan feels without football being played with a hilarious medicinal commercial. 6. New York Giants The Giants perfectly capped the city stereotypes and fan bases with a 'Love Island' parody. Video game inspired releases have been a hit, and credit for not using an actual game for it. Also some fantastic deep cuts for other fanbases. Way to commit to the 'Severance' style. It really felt like an episode of the hit show with the ominous feel, and the players showed some acting chops. 3. Pittsburgh Steelers Nick Herbig and Keeanu Benton should consider a TV show after this performance. The animal noises part was gold. The old school Mario Kart was incredible with stellar graphics, and the Falcons didn't hold back with the great diss of Bill Belichick. The Chargers do it again, this time with Minecraft. There are so many sneaky disses in there, and it's pure art from beginning to end. Los Angeles remains the king of shade and schedule release videos.
