DDP Believes This WCW Star Sold The Diamond Cutter The Best
There have been a lot of great sells of DDP's Diamond Cutter over the years, but he believes one WCW star surprisingly sold it better than anyone. WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page recently sat down with CasinoBeats. When asked who sold the Diamond Cutter the best, DDP said it was former UFC and WCW star Tank Abbott. Advertisement 'Ah, God. There were so many good ones. But I literally have to say Tank Abbott,' DDP said. 'And Tank Abbott was an MMA fighter who came in, legitimate badass dude, and the Diamond Cutter was a shoot hold. One of your brothers, Stephen Regal, the great Lord Stephen Regal, who was one of the best technical wrestlers, maybe ever, but definitely in that top 1%. 'But there's a hold that you craft. It's not like a headlock. It's reversed, and it's a cravat. And if I put you in that cravat and you don't go, you are going anyway. And Tank happened. When I went, I don't think he was ready because I came down, his feet went straight up, and he came down flat. I was just happy that he was a tough son of a bitch because that could do some serious damage. And I tell him, if you don't go, you are going anyway. He was pretty devastating looking.' Jaquan Brisker believes Caleb Williams is going to take over the league
Jaquan Brisker believes Caleb Williams is going to take over the league The Chicago Bears have had an impactful offseason that's been all about building around quarterback Caleb Williams. From the hiring of offensive genius Ben Johnson as head coach to overhauling the entire interior offensive line to adding more playmakers, the stage is set for Williams to have a breakout year. Williams is coming off an encouraging rookie season, where he broke franchise and league records while showcasing his impressive skill and potenital -- all amid a disastrous 5-12 campaign, where the Bears lost 10 straight games and went through two head coaches and three offensive coordinators. But that's all in the past, and Williams is primed for a big year, especially with all of the offseason additions. Safety Jaquan Brisker, is expecting a big year from his quarterback, where he issued a warning for the rest of the league: Williams is about to take over the league. 'He's a hard worker, he's very locked in, he's detailed," Brisker told Casino Beats. "And he's got that X-factor. I feel like he will take that next step. I feel like he has a chip on the shoulder from last season, especially the way it ended for us. We knew what the season was supposed to be, but it didn't go that way. And I feel like he's gonna have a chip on his shoulder to dominate the league. 'And, yeah, he's great. He's a great teammate, great person. Just puts his head down and works, and I'm sure he's working behind closed doors without posting. So it's gonna be scary, because I know he has that attitude to where he wants to get back at people. And I like that. I know he's gonna take over this league. Ben, him and Caleb paired up, it's going to be amazing. That's who Caleb wanted in the offseason. It's going to be amazing seeing Caleb grow, and he's ready.' Despite a chaotic rookie season, Williams is poised to make a substantial leap in his second season as he works with Johnson, who turned Jared Goff into a Pro Bowl quarterback in Detroit. The head coach is in place; the offensive line is improved; the weapons are limitless. Williams is set up for success, which will only help Brisker and the defense dominate.
