White House reporter mocked by lefty peers for asking about Trump's secret to looking ‘healthier than ever'
A conservative White House reporter was mocked after she asked about President Trump's secret to looking 'healthier than ever' — but the journalist insists the American people would want his tips. Cara Castronuova, a former professional boxer and credential reporter from LindellTV, threw the softball question to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt at the closing of Friday's daily press briefing. 'President Trump looks healthier than ever before. I'm sure everybody in this room could agree,' Castronuova began. 'Is he working out with Bobby Kennedy and is he eating less McDonald's?,' she then asked Leavitt, who chuckled at the remarks. The press secretary responded that she 'can confirm the president is in very good shape' as Castronuova's lefty peers were left astonished. Video of the interaction shows two stone-faced White House reporters frowning and staring dead-eyed off into the distance after the exchange. Online trolls were then quick to blast the two-time Gold Glove-winning boxer and former celebrity trainer. 'And they say journalism is dead,' Jon Ralston, CEO of news outlet the Nevada Independent, quipped on X 'This isn't journalism, it is devotion,' another critic echoed. 'A+ stuff. No Notes,' ex-CNN talking head Chris Cilliza also joked. Several more X users made dramatic comparisons to the reporting coverage in Kim Jong Un's despotic regime in North Korea and accused Castronuova of being a 'propagandist.' However, Castronuova stood by her question, insisting to The Post that whether you 'love him or hate him, the eyes don't deceive.' The broadcaster also insisted that it is a question that many Americans — particularly those over 65 — would be interested in. 'I wanted to genuinely ask on behalf of the American people the President's new fitness and diet regime,' Castronuova said. 'He lost weight, looks buffer, and appears healthier than he did when he came into office eight years ago! I think it's inspirational to Americans over the age of 65 that it's never too late to start losing weight and taking control of your health,' she continued. 'I think the American people over 65 would love some tips directly from the president.' Meanwhile, her former co-host came to her defense, saying it was harmless, good fun. 'It's Friday afternoon, it's the last question, a little levity in the room,' John Tabacco, host of Newsmax's 'Wise Guys' said of the interaction. 'Cara is the epitome of the new media transparency Trump has ushered into the White House,' Tabacco added in reference to his girlfriend and former co-host.

Conservative Journalist Mocked For Asking The Cringiest Possible Trump Question
Considering that Donald Trump's current tariff antics are fueling recession fears, there's no doubt the public wants answers. However, they won't be getting them from the questions asked by reporters like Cara Castronuova, who works for Lindell TV, a news network created by My Pillow big cheese Mike Lindell. Castronuova, a former boxer, became the subject of much social media mockery on Friday when she asked a question at the White House's press briefing that seemed like it could have been composed by press secretary Karoline Leavitt herself. 'Will you guys also consider releasing the president's fitness plan? He actually looks healthier than ever before — healthier than he did eight years ago, and I'm sure everybody in this room could agree,' Castronuova asked. 'Is he working out with Bobby Kennedy and eating less McDonald's?' Leavitt was obviously happy to end the press gathering with a softball question like that. 'I can confirm the president is in very good shape, as you see on a near daily basis here,' she said. REPORTER: President Trump looks healthier than ever before. I'm sure everybody in this room could agree. Is he working out with Bobby Kennedy and is he eating less McDonald's?LEAVITT: I can confirm the president is in very good shape — Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) April 11, 2025 The timing of Castronuova's question was fortuitous; she asked it on the same day Trump had his annual physical. Her premise was also factually dubious ― remember, Trump is a big fan of McDonald's and once said that exercise is bad for the human body. As a result, she was heavily mocked on social media for being a suck-up, not a journalist. Have I been misunderstanding what 'being in very good shape' is all this time?? — dara faye (@darafaye) April 11, 2025 The great leader is the most handsome man in the galaxy, is it his amazing genes or eating at McDonald's? Brought to you by McDonald's, you're lovin' it or else — Aleksandar Djokic (Александар Джокич) (@polidemitolog) April 11, 2025 How embarrassing for our nation. — The Nicest Boy on this Website and App (@bikivindaloo) April 11, 2025 She didn't answer the question about him working out and eating less McDonalds. You used to complain about the at the new rightoid media. Literally questions about how hot Trump looks. This kind of worship was funny and had an ironic flavor in 2016. Now it's literally how we're governed. — Richard Hanania (@RichardHanania) April 11, 2025 It's Time For Trump's Physical Exam, And You Know What That Means Trump To Undergo Annual Physical After Years Of Reluctance To Share Medical Information
