Couple who work at Casa Loma create their own personal castle for their family
Their jobs at Casa Loma put Paolo Busato and Catriona Delaney in the midst of spectacular opulence from a bygone era. But they go home to a fresh and modern condo done in a 'rustic Boho chic' style (her choice) blended with French and Italian influences (his taste). 'As much as I love to visit it, I wouldn't want to live in Casa Loma,' Delaney says.
As general manager of tourism and operations for the famous 98-room landmark, which was completed in 1914, she's 'the only person in Canada who oversees a castle.' Busato is maestro and co-founder of the Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra, which performs a summer series of concerts.
