Ferguson attended college at Wisconsin. He has 149 catches for 1,429 yards in three seasons with Dallas. His best catch, many will believe, is Cavinder, who will be his bride.

A second post provided a behind-the-scenes look at the surprise proposal, including moments with her twin sister Hanna Cavinder. In the video captioned, 'OOTN (my twin doesn't know she's getting engaged),' the sisters are seen getting ready for what Haley believed was a celebratory dinner in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Cavinder and Ferguson made their relationship public in 2023. Since then, Cavinder has regularly supported Ferguson during his NFL season. In January, the pair shared a light-hearted TikTok wearing matching pink sweatsuits and gray tank tops during a breakfast outing. They also attended the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards together in May 2024. The couple celebrated their one-year anniversary last September with a post on Cavinder's Instagram captioned, 'A year w ferg.' Cavinder recently completed her college basketball career, averaging 18.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game in her final season. Ferguson, who earned Pro Bowl honors, finished the latest NFL season with 59 receptions for 494 yards. Despite his individual performance, the Cowboys concluded their campaign with a 7-10 record and did not qualify for the playoffs.

Haley Cavinder, who starred for the Miami Hurricanes' women's basketball program with twin sister Hanna, announced her engagement to NFL boyfriend Jake Ferguson. Cavinder posted a photo of herself flexing her engagement ring on her Instagram story with a beach in the background. The photo did not feature any words, nor was a face shown. But ESPN posted a video of Ferguson and Cavinder on the beach together, and she flexed it even more. The engagement comes roughly a month after the rumored breakup of her twin sister, Hanna, and incoming Miami quarterback Carson Beck. Beck transferred to the U, where both Cavinders played basketball, after spending four years at the University of Georgia, where he replaced Stetson Bennett. Last month, Hanna wiped Beck from her Instagram, and Haley went on an "unfiltered" tangent regarding the rumored breakup. "I just want to say one thing, because I can't be too crazy unfiltered on here: If your sister comes to you or your friend or someone that's really important in your life, and they have a gut feeling about a relationship or a friendship, for example, and they just tell you that on a repeated basis, trust your dang sister. Trust her," Haley said. "She's always right. I promise, you or your mom, they're always right." Haley and Ferguson, the Dallas Cowboys tight end, have been dating since 2023. September marked the one-year anniversary of their relationship.. Cavinder said trolls emerged when they made their relationship public. During a YouTube Q&A session with her sister, Haley said she received negative comments about her looks when her relationship made the rounds. "I was in Forever 21 having a great day with my mom and Hanna, and I got this post. And I just started looking at the comments about my face," Cavinder said. But it seems like the negativity has not gotten to the couple. Hanna had initially decided to forgo her final season of eligibility while Haley initially was transferring to TCU, but, in April 2024, they jointly announced a return to Miami to play their final season in 2024-25. Miami Hurricanes guard Haley Cavinder is done playing college basketball. "[Eighteen] years later, and it's time to say goodbye to the game I've loved since I was six," Cavinder wrote in an Instagram post. She and twin sister, Hanna, un-retired before the season to play together in Miami. Haley also de-committed from TCU to play for the Hurricanes. Still, on Tuesday, Haley poured her heart out about how much basketball has meant to her. "Nothing will ever fill the void of you or the feeling of accomplishing my dream ― playing the sport I love with my twin by my side," she shared with photos of the two from over the years. Hanna Cavinder wipes Carson Beck off Instagram as breakup rumors swirl
A relationship between two Miami Hurricane athletes appears to be no more. Hanna Cavinder, who plays basketball for the Canes, recently wiped Carson Beck off her Instagram and no longer follows the quarterback; Beck transferred to Miami earlier this year after spending five years at Georgia. Cavinder posted TikToks of herself and Beck on a trip with her twin sister, Haley, and her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, earlier this week. But, according to Betr Media, it appeared that Beck added another girl on Snapchat, saying that he and Cavinder broke up "literally this past weekend." Another apparent message said "things just start not working out ya know, feel it coming." This is not Beck's first incident with Snapchat; he was once accused of sending raunchy messages to other girls. Beck and Cavinder each had a vehicle stolen last month in Florida. Beck, the former starting quarterback at Georgia, declared for the 2025 NFL Draft in December, just days after undergoing season-ending elbow surgery. He was injured in the first half of the Bulldogs' overtime victory over Texas in the SEC championship game. Despite having another year of eligibility, Beck set his sights on the NFL after back-to-back seasons as Georgia's starter with a 24-3 record. But he switched course the following month, and committed to Miami to join his girlfriend. The Cavinders initially said they were skipping their final year of eligibility, with Hanna completing her playing career and Haley saying she would play this season at TCU. However, they both returned to the Canes. Miami is losing FBS touchdown leader Cam Ward to the NFL Draft, and Ward is in the running to be the top selection of the draft.
