It comes after Sir Rod Stewart, 80, put on a very animated display as he posed next to his glamorous wife Penny at the Mission: Impossible 8 premiere in London earlier this month. The couple joined plenty of famous faces on the red carpet in Leicester Square to celebrate Tom Cruise 's eighth and final instalment, The Final Reckoning. The film, which has faced multiple delays, is finally due to hit cinemas on May 23 2025. Penny looked effortlessly chic in a yellow satin dress, while Rod bared his chest in a white ruffled shirt and rocked a trendy jacket. The loved-up pair, who have have been married since 2007, were joined by two young gentleman at the premiere. The Maggie May hitmaker, 80, has eight children with five different women, two of whom are sons Alastair, 19, and Aidan, 14, which he raises with third wife Penny, 54. Rod also has Liam, 30, and Renee, 32, with his second wife, model Rachel Hunter, 55, while Kimberly, 45, and Sean, 44, are from his first marriage to actress Alana Stewart, 79. Daughter Ruby, 37, is from a former relationship with model Kelly Emberg, 65 and Rod's firstborn child is Sarah Streeter, 61, who was raised by her adoptive parents Gerald and Evelyn Thubron. The model, 45, and her siblings Sean, 44, Ruby, 37, Renee, 32, and Liam, 30, surprised their famous dad on stage at the ceremony as he was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award Rod's daughter Kimberly showed off her growing baby bump as she made a surprise appearance at the American Music Awards. The model and her siblings Sean, Ruby, Renee, and Liam surprised their famous dad on stage at the ceremony as he was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Kimberly announced in March that she was pregnant with her second child, which will be her famous father's fifth grandchild. Los Angeles based Kimberly is already a mum to 13-year-old daughter Delilah Genoveva Stewart, who she shares with her ex-flame Benicio del Toro. She looked radiant in a figure-hugging black dress in a snap shared on Instagram as she joined her family at the star-studded event at BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Monday. Kimberly did not reveal who the father of the baby was, only that she was expecting a son. Singing icon Rod was so shocked to see his family at Monday's ceremony that he dropped an F-bomb that was edited out of the broadcast. 'I'm so f***ing overwhelmed that you're here,' he said lovingly to his kids, according to reporter at the ceremony. However, the version that aired on CBS featured a clumsy cut away from Stewart during his cursing to a bizarre shot of audience members, who were holding up their phones to film his speech. Instead of beeping the profanity, CBS appeared to just snip out the offending word, resulting in a jarring return to his speech mid-word. Rod said he was 'absolutely flabbergasted' because he had no idea that his children were going to be attending the ceremony, much less giving him a warm introduction. 'I thought you had recorded it earlier!' he said of their introduction.

We tried Cecconi's at Soho House and this what we thought

Italian food with views across the sea, what's not to love? When I heard that Cecconi's at Soho House was opening their doors to non-members, I was keen to give it a try and it was a happy day when they invited me over to sample their menu. Cecconi's has sixteen venues across the globe, with several of their restaurants having reportedly hosted some of the biggest names in the celebrity world. A restaurant chain approved by the A listers; I had high expectations. And I must say I was not disappointed. The restaurant's interior (Image: The Argus Staff) Cecconi's Brighton venue is tucked away, just off Marine Parade, and looks to bring a slice of Northern Italy to Brighton's seafront. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor dining, with a large terrace area offering panoramic views across the beach and a fantastic spot to watch the sunset on a summers evening. We took a seat at a table next to the window, where we began our evening with a drink. I went for the apple and honey mocktail which was both refreshing and the perfect alcohol alternative. I was particularly impressed by the number of options for alcohol-free cocktails, something which can often be limited at a lot of restaurants. For starters, we decided to share some calamari, a dish which was clearly popular among diners as we saw many the dish brought out throughout the evening. Calamari, alongside the honey and apple mocktail (Image: The Argus Staff) As someone who can be a little bit fussy when it comes to seafood, the calamari was delicious. The fish was not chewy and the battered coating was really flavoursome, pairing perfectly with the aioli dip. The portion size was also very generous, and having already indulged in some focaccia offered on entry, I was conscious to not spoil my main meal. For main course, I chose the buffalo mozzarella, tomato, and basil pizza. There was a good amount of cheese, and you could taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients used. Our main course (Image: The Argus Staff) My dining partner chose the pork chop with borlotti beans and gremolata, with a side of chips. The piece of pork was huge, the meat very tender with a lovely taste. The beans also complimented the dish well. By this point, I must admit I was feeling a little defeated by the level of carbs I had consumed. However, the temptation of at least looking over the dessert menu was too much. Easily persuaded, and taking a recommendation from staff, we ordered the choux bun. The giant pastry came with caramel ice cream, alongside a huge gravy boat filled with chocolate which you able to able to pour over the top. Hidden inside the profiterole you could also find rhubarb, which added a lovely sharpness to the rich, chocolaty flavours. The choux bun (Image: The Argus Staff) I can see why it's a favourite among customers, just thinking about it is making me hungry! Overall, my experience at Cecconi's was faultless. The food was delicious, topped off by the fantastic service and relaxing atmosphere. Staff had a really great understanding of what the restaurant had to offer and were consistently on hand to offer advice and recommendations. The food was of a really high standard, and although slightly pricier than other places in the city, I feel that the product you receive is good value and worth that little extra. If you are looking for a new restaurant to try this weekend with seafront views and impeccable service, Cecconi's is definitely worth a visit.

Toorak: Luxe retail and office hub could sell for $200m

An ultra-luxurious Toorak retail and office hub has hit the market with an eye-watering $200m price tag. Property developer Bill McNee's Vicland Property Group has put the nine-storey St Germain site at 505 Toorak Rd up for sale. Described on the company's website as 'Melbourne's most exclusive office', its tenants include Coles, property development company Deague Group, real estate agency Kay & Burton, supermarket Scoop Wholesale and fine dining restaurant Cecconi's. High-end gym and wellness club operator Saint Haven, founded by property mogul Tim Gurner, is another tenant. Last year, Saint Haven's St Germain base made headlines for memberships which reportedly cost between $500 to $1000 per week for services such as reverse-ageing technology, personal lockers for members' favourite fragrances and a Bentley airport chauffeur service. St Germain features a communal rooftop terrace with Melbourne city views, landscaped terraces on multiple levels and a curved glass tower that 'symbolises the aspirational future of Toorak', according to an online video produced on the project for the 2024 Victorian Architecture Awards. End-of-trip facilities and 168 car parks are also on offer. The mixed-use development has been listed for sale after reaching 100 per cent occupancy, with construction on the high-end building wrapping up in 2023. Commercial real estate agency Cushman & Wakefield's international director and co-head of investment sales, Daniel Wolman, said that he was expecting St Germain to attract interest from international buyers. 'We have no doubt we will get a lot of interest from Victoria, Australia and offshore including Asia and possibly Europe and America, as it's such a special building,' Mr Wolman said. St Germain's overall rental returns add up to about $10.5m per year. In 2021, Vicland Property Group sold a nine-level office building on the site of the Jam Factory's former carpark at 11 Wilson St, South Yarra, to German fund manager Real IS for $75m. Industry sources indicated that St Germain's $200m price tag is the highest amount that a Melbourne mixed-use development outside of the CBD has ever been listed for. Other Cushman & Wakefield agents working on the sales campaign are Nick Rathgeber, Leigh Melbourne, Oliver Hay, Mark Hansen and Leon Ma. Expressions of interest close on June 25.
