California police issue Ebony Alert for missing teen girl not seen in months
( — The California Highway Patrol issued an Ebony Alert Monday for a missing teen girl who has not been seen in several months.
Cecilia Jones, 17, is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall, 106 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, according to CHP. She was last seen around 11:11 a.m. on Dec. 14, 2024, wearing a black sweater, gray sweatpants, and carrying a black backpack and black duffle bag. She is believed to be traveling on foot.
CHP said it was notified of Jones' disappearance on Monday, and her case was first reported to the Merced Police Department. The Ebony Alert was issued for Merced, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Sacramento Counties.
Anyone with information on Jones' location is advised by law enforcement to call 911.
