Sharon boys advance in State Tournament
SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) – The Sharon boys continued their playoff run with an 82-74 victory over Avonworth in the First Round of the Class 4A PIAA State Tournament.
The Tigers were led by Levi Hailstock. The senior guard finished with 25 points. Freshman Cedrick Boyd added 18 points for Sharon and senior Derek Douglas finished with 15.
Sharon will advance to the PIAA Second Round on Tuesday, March 11. The Tigers will face Belle Vernon, who knocked off Farrell, 75-63 on Friday night.
