Nicola gives zero ‘f***s' & Brooklyn wants to be in control – a blow-by-blow account of what big interview really means
JUST when I thought the guns had fallen silent in the Beckhams' feud . . . Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz have taken aim and finally had their say. Despite questions about David and Victoria being firmly 'off limits' in a new interview with a glossy magazine, Brooklyn and Nicola got in a few well-placed jabs at them. They hit back at claims Nicola felt upstaged by Posh at her wedding — labelling their big day 'overwhelming'. And they described Nicola being portrayed as a narcissistic monster 'fake news' which is 'not worth' defending. Other subtle jibes include Brooklyn, 26, snubbing the tattoos he had in tribute to his parents, and picking 'Nicola's eyes . . . or our wedding vows' as among his favourite inkings. And pointing out that his hot sauce was branded 23 in a nod to him and his wife — despite his team previously suggesting it was a 'warm nod' to his footballer father's shirt number. The couple spoke to Germany's Glamour magazine, kissing in front of the cameras against a white backdrop as they posed in designer clobber for a very loved-up photoshoot. Yet every word they said appeared meticulously planned to pack a punch in all the right places. In all my years writing about this famous family, I've learned that even the minutiae is treated with meticulous care to protect brand Beckham. And as Brooklyn has found himself an outsider, he seems to be cleverly positioning himself as the leader of his own brand — with his all- American sidekick. On Saturday, we revealed how the US actress had burst into tears on their big day after the wedding singer Marc Anthony had called Posh 'the most beautiful woman in the room' at the reception in Palm Beach, Florida. Nicola, 30, had already had a run-in with Victoria over her wedding dress — with the bride-to-be alleging she had been ghosted by the Spice Girl when she asked her to design the gown. But in the new interview, Nicola wryly mused: 'A wedding can be overwhelming.' Tellingly, Nicola went on to say of their big day: 'It's good to focus for a moment on what it's really about: The two of us.' That's right, not Marc, nor Victoria nor David. Brooklyn's own take on their special day in April 2022 was also eye- opening, as he centred on the motor ride after the wedding ceremony at the Peltz family's estate. Instead of picking the moment he clapped eyes on his bride, he said: 'One of my fondest memories remains the short car ride after the ceremony.' And with the beauty of hindsight, I'm sure he would have got in that stunning blue Jaguar with Nicola and skipped the reception altogether. Not only would his wife not have been in tears and called a 'spoilt brat' for crying over Marc's sycophancy, but he wouldn't have had to listen to the singer swooning over his mum. 11 Nicola added: 'At times, we even considered eloping to Las Vegas.' Elsewhere in the interview, the pair pointedly snapped back at reports regarding Nicola and the state of her relationship with Brooklyn's family. Those close to the Beckham family have said they are concerned Nicola has become a controlling presence in Brooklyn's life — with him no longer speaking to his parents or his siblings. Contact with his grandparents is also said to have been cut, with the family fearing he was being 'held hostage' by Nicola, who is accused of being hell bent on driving a wedge between them. But sources close to Nicola have been firing back, claiming she is being painted as the Gen Z version of Meghan Markle. They say she has done nothing but be a loving and devoted wife. Nicola questioned the narrative being driven — that she is a narcissistic monster — as 'fake news'. There will always be people who talk. The important thing is that we're happy together Brooklyn The line will no doubt have pleased her billionaire, Trump -supporting dad Nelson, given the US President's penchant for calling anything he doesn't like 'fake news'. Nicola added: 'I'd love to deny it immediately, but it's not worth it.' Brooklyn added: 'Don't listen to all the nonsense. Keep your head down, work hard, stay friendly. 'There will always be people who talk. The important thing is that we're happy together.' It's just a shame the talking isn't happening between him and his parents. Brooklyn has more than 100 tattoos and, in the interview, he was asked about which are 'particularly important' to him. Tellingly, a massive heart on his left shoulder with 'mum' written inside it, which he got in 2018, doesn't get a mention. Nor does the one dedicated to his dad, which saw him ink David's middle name Joseph — the same moniker handed down to Brooklyn — on his lower left arm three years ago. 11 11 Instead, Brooklyn said: 'Some mean a lot to me, like Nicola's eyes on my neck or our wedding vows. 'I also have the Star of David and a tattoo honouring my grandfather.' In what could be seen as a dig at Victoria, Nicola added: 'He also got my mother's rosary tattooed on his hand.' And in what seemed another snub to his father, Brooklyn appeared to do a U-turn on the meaning behind the name of his Cloud 23 hot sauce. Last week Brooklyn's team suggested the number 23 was a 'warm nod' to David — who wore that shirt number when he played for Real Madrid and LA Galaxy. But when asked about it in the new interview, Brooklyn said: 'The 23 stands for our engagement date and my age back then.' Nicola also appears to back up her nameless US confidantes, who have been pushing the narrative that the Beckhams use social media to be 'performative'. David and Victoria have both shared snaps in recent weeks that include their son Brooklyn — with Victoria captioning one of her posts: 'I love you all so much.' Can of worms Nicola said: 'It's easy to create an image of a perfect life, even though, of course, no one is happy all the time. 'That's the difficult thing about social media: You start to question everything.' There is also a hint at Brooklyn's incendiary social media post last month, which saw him telling Nicola 'I always choose you.' She told the magazine: 'Ultimately, it's important to show reality, even if it's not always easy.' After the post, Brooklyn was slammed for turning his back on his parents. Those close to David and Victoria told me Brooklyn's words were like a 'dagger to their hearts'. But Nicola seemingly has no regrets, adding: 'I often don't even know what's right, but I post it anyway.' The pair veer towards opening a fresh can of worms, when asked about the 'most important advice' they would give to young couples. Nicola responded: 'My parents taught me, 'Always tell the truth, we'll help you'. I still carry this attitude of being open and honest deep in my heart today. 'You never regret it. On the contrary, true closeness only comes from genuine connection, that is, when you have the courage to be honest.' Brooklyn added: 'Always be honest.' Wildly differing versions of events surrounding David's 50th birthday celebrations — the catalyst of the latest feud — have been proferred by the two camps. Brooklyn and Nicola claim they offered to meet David and Victoria privately but were rebuffed. People close to the Beckhams described this as nonsense, claiming that there has been zero contact from Brooklyn to his famous parents in weeks. A parting shot, buried within the interview, sees Brooklyn laying out his stall when it comes to his marriage. When asked about giving advice to young couples, he said: 'Love and protect each other, always.' In other words, he is saying don't come for us — because we'll come for you. And in this endless game of tit for tat, it might be time for the Beckhams to wave the white flags before this all gets even uglier. 11

Miley Cyrus breaks silence on dad Billy Ray's shock romance with Elizabeth Hurley
Miley Cyrus has broken her silence on her father Billy Ray Cyrus ' shock new romance with Elizabeth Hurley, saying it has enabled her to love both her parents 'as individuals' and that seeing them happy has helped her finally 'grow up'. 'As I've gotten older, I respect my parents as individuals instead of as parents because, you know, my mom really loved my dad for her whole life,' said the pop icon, 32, who debuted her new single Easy Lover on Thursday. 'I took on some of my mom's hurt as my own, because it hurt her more than it hurt me as an adult. So I owned a lot of her pain as mine.' Speaking candidly on The Interview, a New York Times podcast, she added: 'But now that my mom is so in love with my stepdad, Dom, who I completely adore, and now that I see my dad finding happiness outside of that too, I can love them both as individuals instead of as a kind of parental pairing. I'm being an adult about it.' Miley's mom Tish, 58, split from country singer Billy Ray in 2022 after 28 years of marriage, and their divorce was finalized in 2023. She married Prison Break star Dominic Purcell in August the same year. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'At first, it's hard,' Miley added of her dad's new romance, 'because the little kid in you reacts before the adult in you can go, yes, that's your dad - but that's just another person that deserves to be in his bliss and to be happy. So my adult self has caught up. My child self has caught up.' Billy Ray, 63, was first linked to actress Elizabeth, 59, in April this year, following the end of his short-lived marriage to 36-year-old singer Firerose. The pair reportedly bonded over their shared love of horses and rural life, with a source saying at the time: 'It's early days but they've genuinely hit it off.' Reflecting on the relentless scrutiny surrounding her famous family and why today's media cycle makes those moments easier to weather - Miley continued: 'The thing I like about the new way that the world works is that everything is so fast, it's forgotten really quickly. In the Nineties when something happened... it would just last for a year. Now it's just gone. 'Social media moves so fast. It just eats everything. Something may seem really important for a couple hours but then there's a meme that goes viral - somebody scats at Walmart or something - and that becomes the next thing.' But while she's learned to live with the headlines about her own antics, she admits it's her family - some of whom have chosen to stay out of the spotlight - that she worries about most. 'It can be embarrassing… not so much for me,' she said. 'I try to just be more compassionate to my parents because I hate that for them. And I mostly hate it for my siblings that have chosen not to be in this industry, because they didn't choose that kind of highlight on themselves.' Miley shares musician Trace, 36 and DJ Brandi 38, with her mum Tish, while singer Braison, 31, and pop star Noah, 25, are the offspring of both Tish and Billy Ray. Miley also has a brother Chris, 33, who is the biological son of Billy Ray. 'I've gotten so used to it,' Miley added. 'I'm like, if the symptom of this is that sometimes we deal with these embarrassing [stories] or difficult public opinions, then that's something I'm willing to take to have the life that we have. But it doesn't make it any easier.' Miley told The NYT podcast The Interview the shock new romance has enabled her to love both her parents 'as individuals' and that seeing them happy has helped her finally 'grow up'; Pictured in Rome on May 24 She continued: 'Mostly what makes me sad about it is for them. I feel pretty strong. I've taken so much on the chin. I've stayed strong without ever getting too callous. I'm pretty open and vulnerable for how much I've been through. But no one likes to wake up to that stuff. So it sucks. But it's worth it.' Miley also opened up about her father's difficult upbringing in Kentucky - and how it has shaped her understanding of his struggles as an adult, particularly when it comes to sobriety. 'My dad grew up in severe poverty - you know, not always having indoor bathrooms. No doctor's appointments, rarely the dentist,' she said. 'I spent most of my life in LA, in a safe neighborhood. I just can't even compare our upbringings in any way, shape, or form.' Miley has been sober for five years, giving up alcohol and before that, marijuana in 2017. 'I took on some of my mom's hurt as my own, because it hurt her more than it hurt me as an adult. So I owned a lot of her pain as mine,' the Grammy winner said of the split When asked about Billy Ray's history with addiction - and whether they've ever spoken about it - she said: 'I think he has a bit of a harder time completely enjoying being sober. I kind of enjoy it,' she said. 'My dad always calls it a 'good bad habit'. Things that make you feel good, but they're bad.' 'We don't avoid it, but it's not really something that's our table talk. I think me and my dad like to talk about music and movies. It's not something that's ever been our focus, but probably should be. We probably should talk about that at some point.' The pair have reconnected in recent months, she added. 'Timing is everything,' she said. 'There's been enough bridges now of time to get us all reconnected.' When asked about how her global stardom - eclipsing Billy Ray's own success - has impacted their relationship, Miley explained: 'That has added a level of complexity within my family for sure.' 'I think it would be hard for anybody with a dream to see somebody else achieving theirs in a way that you see for yourself. 'But I do think love conquered all in a sense that he can still find the pride in me, but I think it would be delusional for any of us to think that that doesn't add a level of complication to our already complicated dynamic. 'So at times in my life, I've felt that guilt and shame was a driver for me. Like, I had a hard time accepting that I could suffer because of how blessed I am. I don't think it's actually really played too much of a part between me and my dad because I have to have the faith that, like any dad, he would want this for me.'

Hailey Bieber fans FURIOUS as husband Justin's 'disgusting' comments about her pre-pregnancy body resurface
Hailey Bieber fans were outraged after a video resurfaced of Justin Bieber admitting he would have ditched his wife 'a long time ago' if it weren't for her looks. The 28-year-old supermodel was riding high Wednesday following back-to-back wins — landing the cover of Vogue and selling her Rhode beauty brand for a staggering $1 billion. But instead of celebrating her wins, Justin reminded fans he once said Hailey would never make Vogue — and marked her $1 billion Rhode deal with a silent repost, offering no praise. Then, adding fuel to the fire of what fans already see as a rocky marriage, a 2020 clip went viral showing Justin in a car with Hailey, turning to her and dropping a jaw-dropping line. 'If you weren't so hot, I would've got rid of you a long time ago,' he says into the camera with a smile. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The video resurfaced just as Hailey's Vogue interview was making headlines, where she opened up about working with a team to return to her pre-pregnancy body after welcoming their son Jack last year — a vulnerable moment now overshadowed by Justin's remark. Fans didn't hold back in the comments. 'Justin that is RUDE and DISGUSTING thing to say to your wife. You aren't hot btw. Disrespect a woman like that? Red flag,' one wrote. Another added, 'No words. That man would never see me again or he would never see the light of day again.' One Hailey fan posted, 'this is a crazy thing to say to your gf/fiance/wife (idk what they where at the time).' Yet another added simply: 'This is abuse.' Earlier this month, the Sorry hitmaker faced major backlash after admitting he once harshly told Hailey she'd never land a Vogue cover during an argument. That same day, as his wife celebrated achieving that very milestone, the embattled pop star sparked controversy with his Instagram post meant to congratulate her. His attempt at humor didn't sit well with fans, as he explained why the Vogue cover felt like a full-circle moment for their relationship. 'Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight. I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. 'Yikes, I know, so mean. For some reason because I felt so disrespected I thought I gotta get even,' he explained. Justin continued: 'Think as we mature we realize that we're not helping anything by getting even... we're honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection.' He concluded his post by writing a message directly to Hailey, which read: 'So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn't get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken.' Many saw his caption as a backhanded compliment and something 'so unnecessary' to share with his more than 294 million Instagram followers. 'It's okay to have secrets Justin,' one commented. Another wrote: 'You couldn't waterboard this information out of me lmao.' A source later told that Justin and Hailey are often 'at each other's throats,' and the heated fight he mentioned was nothing unusual for the couple; seen in 2022 in Las Vegas 'Why would you write something like that... put that phone down please,' a third urged. Others criticized him for accidentally writing 'sadly mistaken' versus 'happily' mistaken, since he obviously meant to congratulate her on the achievement. A source later told that Justin and Hailey are often 'at each other's throats,' and the heated fight he mentioned was nothing unusual for the couple. So when Justin tried to show support again on Sunday by reposting news that Hailey's Rhode Beauty line is heading to Sephora, fans weren't exactly impressed. In the wake of Justin's confession, fans of his wife highlighted past incidents in which he had allegedly displayed 'unsupportive behavior' toward his wife to contextualize the Vogue controversy.

Meanwhile, in a huge clue in a recent interview with Alem, Ekin failed to mention Curtis once, when asked about love. Ekin responded: 'Love, for me, is a deep bond, trust and being able to be completely yourself with someone... 'Love enables both individual development and growth together. 'I find peaceful, safe and unexpected love valuable. This is exactly the definition of love for me.' While Curtis was out enjoying the food and drink event last night, Ekin told fans she'd enjoyed a gym session - but said she was 'drained.' The star posed in all black gym gear and snapped a mirror selfie, while writing: 'Drained, tired, exhausted, but won't stop me fitting the gym in.' And Hailey added their baby made their marriage even stronger. 'It's been my biggest teacher so far,' she said, 'the biggest teacher in my relationship. You see your partner so differently.' Justin is an 'amazing dad,' she added: 'I think you empathize with your parents a lot more. There's so much perspective that comes with it.'
