Watch your favourite celebs take on the banker for charity.
Which celeb do you think will take the hot seat first? — Deal or No Deal Celebrity SA (@DONDCelebrityZA) June 6, 2025
After raising R2.2 million for more than 40 charity organisations across South Africa in season one, more celebrities will be on the show to change even more lives.
Former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, Robot Boii, Vusi Nova, Sophie Ndaba, Tswyza and Zolani Mahola are some of the celebrities that have participated in the game show.
Notably, media personality Rorisang Thandekiso and TV presenter Pearl Modiadie are the only two celebrities who hit the jackpot prize and won R250,000 for their charity of choice.
Thandekiso made history in 2024 and became the first person to win the ultimate jackpot for charity on the show.
She generously decided to donate her winnings to Paediatric Care Africa, a non-governmental organisation that provides essential medical care to children across the country, with a special focus on remote areas where access to healthcare is scarce or non-existent.
The donation funded the shipment of a 40-foot container from the UK, filled with vital medical supplies, furniture, and mobility aids.
Earlier this year, Modiadie won the R250,000 grand prize for Tshepang Care Centre, a charity based in her hometown. The centre provides crucial support to vulnerable individuals and families in Thembisa, offering food assistance and social services.
Located in Thembisa, the Tshepang Care Centre is situated in the Vusimuzi informal settlement, an area plagued by high unemployment rates.
