High flying acts announced for 2025 Dayton Air Show
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show announced some of the exciting acts fans can expect at this year's show. In just over a month, the Dayton Air Show returns to the Dayton International Airport. On Wednesday, organizers shared some of the high-flying performances set to arrive June 21-22. GALLERY: Dayton Air Show 2024 The U.S. Thunderbirds will return to the Gem City to headline this year's show. Other acts include the Red Bull Air Force, the U.S. Army Golden Knights and the Fighter Jets Demo Team. Organizers are excited to show a variety of different acts to fans this summer. 'We're really fortunate with the show, a lot of different acts want to come and be in our show,' said Kevin Frankin, Dayton Air Show executive director. Acts announced for 51st CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show
The CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show is just 45 days away, and this year's list of acts has officially been announced. Air show to reinforce ticketing system proven to help fans get seated quicker
Fans of the CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show will spend less time worrying about parking and more time enjoying the show, thanks to the ticketing system they're implementing again this year. Goodyear Blimp will celebrate 100 years of flight at local air show
Crowds at the CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show will see a familiar logo coast through the sky as the Goodyear Blimp celebrates 100 years since its first flight. 'We're excited to have all the airships working for us this year to really get out there and celebrate the 100 years of an airship. Because 100 years of a company is a pretty big deal, and for us to have a company within a company celebrating its own 100 years is really cool,' Dougherty said. Goodyear introduced the first 'helium-filled non-rigid airship' in 1925. Introduced as the 'Pilgrim,' the blimp traveled 95,000 miles and started the Goodyear Blimp program, according to a Goodyear spokesperson on their website.
