Brooks signs with MoState, to play for Zo
Hello everyone, I'm Dan Lucy on the Ozarks First digital desk.
Missouri State basketball coach Cuonzo Martin is re-stocking his roster.
In our Bear Nation update.
Springfield native and Central Bulldog product Tyrique Brooks has officially signed with Missouri State.
The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 13 and a half points and four rebounds a game for Missouri Southern last year.
Brooks started in 27 of the Lions 29 games.
At Central, Brooks scored more than 15-hundred points averaging close to 18 points and six rebounds a game.
As a senior, Brooks was the Class 6 co-player of the year and was all-conference, all-district and all-state.
Cuonzo Martin says Brooks has a natural burst and instinct and can make plays with speed and athleticism.
Last week, both Zaxton King and Michael Osei-Bonsu have said they'll be back for this upcoming season.

And I'll see you then.
