New details revealed in Grand Ronde shooting between coworkers
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 41-year-old man is facing charges after shooting his coworker multiple times last week in a house in rural Grand Ronde, according to the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say Cesar Flores of Woodburn has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon and first-degree assault in connection with .
Flores and the victim, who has only been publicly identified as a Sheridan man, were both coworkers and acquaintances at the time of the incident, investigators said on Monday. Earlier this month, authorities said alcohol 'was a factor in this incident.'
Deputies say Flores initially left the scene but eventually turned himself into law enforcement.
The victim was taken to a regional hospital in critical condition and his current condition is unclear at this time.
Flores is still in custody at Yamhill County Correctional Facility and his bail has been set at $750,000.
