Raja Chaudhary, who was married to television star Shweta Tiwari from 1998 to 2007, has stirred fresh controversy with claims about her alleged affair with Kasautii Zindagii Kay co-star Cezanne Khan.
The actor, speaking on Pinkvilla's Hindi Rush podcast, revealed that he believes their marriage should have ended as early as 2003 instead of dragging on until their divorce in 2012. 'Divorce joh humara 2012 mai hua hai voh 2003 mai hi ho jaana chahiye tha," Raja declared, suggesting that troubling signs had surfaced much earlier in their relationship.
Recalling one particular incident, Raja alleged that he had once visited Shweta on the sets of Kasautii Zindagii Kay and saw her arriving in a car belonging to Cezanne Khan. 'Ek gaadi thi. Usme meri documents the aur muje kahi jaana tha toh mai aaya uske shooting pe. Aake dekh rha hu ki gaadi joh hai voh Cezanne ke driver ke sath aa rahi hai voh. Gaadi aur voh aa rahi hai, uske sath bait kar. Joh subhe se shooting chal rahi hai, abhi tak toh set par bhi nahi poche hai," he recounted, claiming the moment left him uneasy about their relationship.
Despite the moment of suspicion, Raja shared that he decided to trust Shweta at the time, brushing it off as a possible work-related meeting between the two actors. However, years later, the memory seems to have resurfaced with bitterness.
Interestingly, Shweta had once addressed the same rumours in an older interview with BollywoodLife, firmly denying any romantic involvement with Cezanne Khan. She had said, 'I supposedly had affairs with multiple guys! Really? When? Has anyone ever seen me at coffee shops or restaurants? Has anyone ever seen me at parties? I shoot for 30 days a month for KZK. Where in the world do I have the time for an affair?" She further added, 'They even say that I recently patched up with him. Why the hell should I patch up with him? I hate him!!"
As of now, Shweta Tiwari has not responded to Raja Chaudhary's latest allegations, which have once again brought their tumultuous past into the public spotlight.
