How windy was it, and how much snow fell in Kansas City?
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Strong overnight winds have caused some power outages and downed limbs throughout the region. The winds are still going strong, but the snow will stop later this morning.
But, just how windy was it?

According to the National Weather Service, recorded in the metro last night into this morning:
Jarbolo: 70 mph
St. Joseph: 66 mph
Pleasant Hill: 65 mph
Olathe: 63 mph
Kansas City International: 62 mph
Cameron: 58 mph
Lee's Summit: 53 mph
Kirksville: 53 mph
Chillicothe: 52 mph
The winds continue gusting 40-50 mph through Wednesday evening.

In addition to the high winds, snow fell throughout the metro. Here is what members of the National Weather Service have reported:
Joe Lauria: 2 inches of snow at 143 and Pflumm in Olathe
Chad Shafer: 1.5 inches of snow in Lee's Summit
Benjamin Sipprell: 0.7 inches of snow in Brookside
Vanessa Alonso: About an inch of snow in St. Joseph
A High Wind Warning continues until 6 p.m. and the snowfall should end by 10 p.m.
