Morocco's Mouhcine Chafi Loses to George Jarvis at ONE Fight Night 30

Casablanca – Mouhcine Chafi lost to England's George Jarvis at ONE Championship show ONE Fight Night 30: Kryklia vs Knowles inside Bangkok's iconic Lumpinee Stadium. Chafi opened the lightweight Muay Thai bout well with straight punches to his opponent's head but Jarvis managed to knock down the Moroccan midway through the first round with a left hook. In the second round, Jarvis continued to dominate with more efficient striking. The two men traded kicks and punches, but with less than a minute to go in the second round, Jarvis knocked down Chafi again with a right hand to the chin. With Chafi trailing on points and needing to finish his opponent, he blazed forward in the third and final round, attempting various strikes but landing too few to tilt the bout in his favor. In the end, Jarvis picked up a unanimous decision win, raising his overall professional record to 27-4. Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Moroccan sees his record drop to 32-8 after falling to his third straight loss in ONE Championship. Tags: one championshipONE Fight Night
