CUPHD launching new Health Atlas data platform
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District has announced its new online public health data platform to provide users better access to information.
On Thursday, CUPHD announced the launch of the Champaign County Health Atlas. The new tool aims to make it easier, faster and more intuitive for people to find and analyze health data to support public health initiatives.
CUPHD warns community of a deadly disease
Platform users are able to explore data visualizations through maps, charts, graphs and tables with more than 100 health indicators tailored to Champaign County's needs. This tool will assist in identifying community health trends, informing funding priorities and improving collaboration across sectors by streamlining data access.
'The Health Atlas will be an invaluable resource for residents, policymakers, researchers, andcommunity organizations, providing easy access to essential health data,' said Administrator Julie Pryde.
This platform gives the public, as well as CUPHD partners, easier access to health data in one place.
