PLATTSBURGH — Proposed budgets for all school districts in Clinton County are under the state's adjusted tax cap for the 2025-26 school year. All budget and school board votes are Tuesday, May 20. Each district sets its own times for the vote. Clinton County PLATTSBURGH Total Budget: $55.8 million, increase of +6.07%. Tax Levy: $25.9 million, increase of +1.73%. Tax Rate: Not given. Levy meets NYS Tax Cap: Yes. Propositions: Bond for $12.1 million for capital project for security and other improvements. School Board candidates (three three-year terms): Gary Lambert (incumbent), Jessica Perry (incumbent), Brigitte Phillips, Kylie Goodell King, Alison Rosenbaum, Sandra Ghelman, Clayton Morris, Elizabeth Goerlitz-Coryer, Jason Howard. Vote: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Glasgow Elementary, Momot Elementary and Duken Building (map at BEEKMANTOWN Total Budget: $57.1 million, increase of $1.8 million +3.3%.
