RAI Boosts Northeast Retail with 3rd North East Retail Summit
The Retailers Association of India (RAI) hosted the 3rd North East Retail Summit (NERS 2025) in Guwahati on May 26, spotlighting the region's emerging retail landscape. The event brought together retailers, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders from all seven Northeastern states, aiming to strengthen the local ecosystem through dialogue, innovation, and collaboration.
Kumar Rajagopalan, CEO of RAI, emphasized the region's retail potential: 'Northeast India has discerning consumers and a talent-rich workforce, but faces logistical challenges. With strategic partnerships, the region can become a key retail hub.'
