Man killed in two-vehicle crash near Laurel, Nebraska
HARTINGTON, Neb. (KCAU) — A man was killed Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash that happened near Laurel, Nebraska.
According to a release from the Cedar County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened on Highway 59 at the intersection of Highway 15 at around 8:49 p.m.

At around this time, a Peterbilt was heading east on Highway 59 when officials said that a 2004 Buick Century turned onto the highway from Highway 15, failing to yield to the oncoming Peterbilt.
The driver of the Buick, identified as Charles Potosnyak, 70, of Coleridge, was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said he was not using a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The crash is still under investigation and the Cedar County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Laurel Fire & EMS and the Nebraska State Patrol.
