Tennessee, Colorado men identified as two killed in Nashville-bound Greyhound bus crash
The Tennessee Highway Patrol released a preliminary report following a Greyhound bus crash in Madison County on May 26 that left two dead and nearly 40 injured in the Nashville-bound trip.
A Colorado man and a Tennessee man, who died in the crash, have been identified by the medical examiner in Nashville.
The report reveals that the 2013 Prevost bus in route from Memphis to Nashville collided with a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Highway 70 in Madison County.

Of the 39 individuals injured, 27 were taken for treatment via ambulance transport.
The bus veered off the road before coming to rest in a ditch, while the Chevrolet caught fire and came to rest on the Highway 70 shoulder. The crash resulted in two fatalities, Sgt. Charlie Childers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol reported on May 28.
Those deceased identified by the medical examiner in the report were Glen Young Jr., 60, from Colorado, who was a passenger on the Greyhound, and John Davis, 56, from Tennessee, who was in the Chevrolet.
The report says neither was wearing a seatbelt.
No charges have been filed, and no additional details have been released at this time.
