Horse dies in Chatham-Kent barn fire

Chatham-Kent fire officials say one horse died after a barn fire south of Chatham.
Firefighters responded a barn engulfed in flames on Eighth Line around 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
When they arrived firefighters learned there might be livestock in the barn. All the horses, except for one, were found safe in a nearby pasture.
The fire was contained to the barn. Damage is estimated at $400,000.
