Watch: When Priyanka Chaturvedi mimicked Bilawal Bhutto's ‘koun raat ke…' remark

Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi took a jibe at former Pakistan foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, mimicking his tone as she responded to his recent remarks on India's Operation Sindoor. Bhutto had questioned the timing of the operation, saying, 'Koun raat ke andhere mein hamle karte hai? Buzdil raat ke andhere mein hamla karte hai' (Who attacks in the dark? Cowards do). Responding during an address to the Indian diaspora in Belgium, Chaturvedi said, 'Let me explain what buzdil (coward) means — those who stage coups against elected governments, jail political leaders, and murder an elected prime minister to install an army general in power.' She said that the same army general who came to power began radicalisation in Pakistan, destroying what was left of the constitution and shattering Jinnah's vision. She also mocked an upcoming Pakistani delegation, saying Pakistan has kept following India even after more than 70 years since their separation. 'A delegation is coming after us, and you all know which one that is. They have been chasing us and refuse to let go. We left them in 1947, but they haven't stopped following us,' she said. 'They'll be arriving in a few days. The person leading this delegation... I say all this only to put in context what India stands for, what we need to expose, and why we are here,' Chaturvedi added. Earlier, Chaturvedi had said that while India is actively pursuing global free trade agreements, Pakistan is instead promoting what she described as a 'free terrorist arrangement' worldwide. 'We have recently concluded a free trade agreement (FTA) with the United Kingdom. We also signed one with Australia some time ago. We are preparing to finalise similar agreements with the European Union and with the United States in the near future,' she said in London, speaking as part of an all-party delegation.

'Those who murder elected PM': Priyanka Chaturvedi mocks Bilawal Bhutto's ‘buzdil' speech; slams Pakistan in Brussels

NEW DELHI: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi on Wednesday delivered a scathing rebuke of Pakistan and its political-military establishment during a public address in Brussels, targeting former Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari without naming him. Referring to Bhutto's remarks, Chaturvedi said, 'The person who is leading the delegation, in his parliamentary speech, said 'Kon raat ke andhere mein hamle karte hain, Buzdil raat ke waqt hamle karte hain'... 'Buzdil' are those who do a coup on an elected government and after sending them to jail, murder the elected Prime Minister, so that the army can control the government.' Her comments referenced Bhutto's remarks on India's military response to Islamabad's terror attacks. Chaturvedi flipped that accusation, linking true cowardice to Pakistan's history of military coups and political assassinations, including the killing of Benazir Bhutto and the ousting of Imran Khan. In a sharp critique of the Pakistani state's support for terrorism , she called on the international community to confront Islamabad's role. 'It is high time that we ask the international community to stand up in unison and call out this kind of terror activities emanating from Pakistan... by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Promoções imperdíveis de voos baratos Voos | Anúncios de Pesquisa Saiba Mais Undo Pakistan has become a hub, the economic model to use terrorism as a way to try and hold the world to ransom... Call them out in the UNSC... till you don't call them out, this is a failed fight against terrorism that the European Union is running. ' She highlighted India's resilience against Pakistan across fields—from military conflict to cricket—saying, 'We have decades of experience of showing them their place. Our armed forces have defeated them, we have defeated you in cricket, trade... How many more times do they want to get humiliated by us?' Her remarks came as part of an all-party parliamentary delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad currently touring Europe, including Belgium, to raise concerns about terrorism and highlight the Indian position on global platforms. The delegation includes BJP and Congress leaders, along with former diplomats, and is engaging with EU officials, think-tanks, and diaspora communities. The diplomatic effort follows the recent terror attack in Pahalgam and India's subsequent airstrikes on terror bases in Pakistan and PoK.

‘India Signs FTAs, Pakistan Runs Free Terrorism Arrangement': Priyanka Chaturvedi Slams Islamabad

Last Updated: Priyanka Chaturvedi accused Islamabad of harbouring some of the world's most wanted terrorists and promoting what she described as a global 'free terrorist arrangement' In a scathing attack on Pakistan, Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi accused Islamabad of harbouring some of the world's most wanted terrorists and promoting what she described as a global 'free terrorist arrangement." Speaking at an event in London as part of an Indian multi-party delegation, Chaturvedi drew sharp contrasts between India's economic diplomacy and Pakistan's terror links. 'India is looking at trade, economy, and commerce while they are looking at a free terrorist arrangement across the world. That is what we need to expose," she said, noting that India has recently concluded free trade agreements with countries like the UK and Australia, and is negotiating similar pacts with the EU and the US. The difference between India and Pakistan is this, while India is signing FTA – Free Trade Agreement, Pakistan is indulging in its own version of FTA- Free Terrorism Arrangement globally. This is what we are here to expose — Priyanka Chaturvedi🇮🇳 (@priyankac19) June 1, 2025 Highlighting Pakistan's long-standing record of providing safe haven to terrorists, Chaturvedi remarked, 'While we host the G20, they host the T20. The top 20 terrorists of the world will be found being hosted by the Pakistani state government. It is their stated policy." Citing the example of Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, who was found and killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan, she accused Islamabad of aiding, financing, and sheltering terrorists while pretending to be an ally of the West. 'They shake hands with you, but they bite you on your back," she added. Chaturvedi also praised India's armed forces for the strikes carried out under Operation Sindoor, launched after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 that claimed 26 lives. She said over 100 terrorists had been killed in the operation, preventing potential terror attacks not just in India but across the world. 'The world should be thanking the armed forces of India for doing what they did," she said. Referring to the Pahalgam attack, Chaturvedi recalled how the terrorists had asked victims their religion before killing them, in an attempt to divide the country. 'India doesn't stand divided. India stands united, and it's our diversity that we celebrate, the diversity that brings this unity," she said. The Indian delegation, led by BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad and comprising MPs Daggubati Purandeswari, Ghulam Ali Khatana, Amar Singh, Samik Bhattacharya, former union minister MJ Akbar, and Ambassador Pankaj Saran, is among seven teams dispatched to 33 global capitals to convey India's zero-tolerance policy against terrorism following the Pahalgam attack. "India Hosts G20, Pak Hosts T20 - Top 20 Terrorists": Priyanka Chaturvedi

London: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi on Monday attacked Pakistan for supporting terrorism and said the country hosts "top 20 terrorists" of the world. Ms Chaturvedi, who is a member of an all-party delegation that is carrying India's anti-terrorism message in the wake of the deadly Pahalgam attack, said that Pakistan "shakes hands with you and then bites you on your back". "We had a very successful presidency as the G20 chairmanship that we had got. We had a very successful one year of presidency. So, while we host the G20, they (Pakistan) host the T20. The top twenty terrorists of the world will be found being hosted by the Pakistani state government. It's their stated policy," she said while addressing the Indian community in London. She said that Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, who was behind the September 11, 2001, attacks in the US, was also traced to a hideout in Pakistan. "Right from Osama bin Laden, I don't know how many of you have seen the documentary. You all must go back home and see the documentary on how he was taken out of Pakistan, and he was being hidden, actively financed, aided, trained, supported, and hidden from their so-called ally in the US. So they shake hands with you, but they bite you on your back," she said. #WATCH | London, UK | Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi says, "...We had a very successful presidency of G-20...
