‘Payanam'gets launched with promising cast and fresh narrative
The launch event for the upcoming Telugu film Payanam took place in Hyderabad, setting the stage for a fresh and emotionally gripping cinematic journey. Directed by Chanduram under the Chayachitralu banner and produced by Swarna Kamal, the film stars Supraj—known for Roti Kapda Romance—and Sangeerthana Vipin, who impressed in Janaka AyitheGanaka.
The film's first scene was shot on the lead pair during a grand muhurat ceremony. Popular choreographer Raghu Master gave the inaugural clap, while actor and music composer Raghu Kunche switched on the camera.
Director Chanduram shared, 'Payanam is a suspense-drama thriller built on a unique concept. It's packed with emotional depth and unexpected twists. Each character is crafted to feel grounded and relatable.' He also revealed that actor Avasarala Srinivas will play a pivotal role.
Producer Swarna Kamal added, 'This film is designed to resonate with today's audience. We are shooting across picturesque locations in Mancherial, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha. Regular shooting begins on July 7.'
The ensemble cast includes Supraj, Sangeerthana Vipin, Avasarala Srinivas, Raghu Kunche, Mime Madhu, and Mehboob Basha. The screenplay, dialogues, and writing are handled by Veera Reddy and Satish Kumar Moola, with cinematography by Shoyabh and music composed by Raghu Kunche.
Key technicians also include Rajasekhar (Art Director), Room Jain (Costume Designer), and P. Bharat Reddy (Executive Producer). With a solid creative team and intriguing plot, Payanam aims to offer a refreshing and engaging viewing experience.
