Bradley Wiggins coming to Somerset to talk about his career
A SOMERSET venue is set to host one of the best cyclists of all time in a meet and greet opportunity.
Sir Bradley Wiggins, a four-time Olympic champion, will be coming to Cheese and Grain in Frome in May 2025.
The sportsman, best known for being the first person from the UK to win the Tour De France, Wiggins will speak to people in the Somerset venue about that Tour de France win, his biggest challenges, receiving an OBE, his autobiography, and more.

Wiggins is also the only person from the United Kingdom who has won a Tour De France and an Olympic gold medal in the same year.

"Having once held the record for the UK's most decorated Olympian with 8 medals, Bradley Wiggins still holds the world record for being the only person to win an Olympic gold medal and Tour De France in the same year.
"His achievements go far beyond the track. In recognition of his services to sport, he was awarded an OBE in 2005, later elevated to CBE in 2009, and in 2012, he was knighted. That same year, he became a household name, winning BBC Sports Personality of the Year, and his bestselling autobiography, My Time, was shortlisted for the British Sports Book Award for Best Autobiography.
"However, it hasn't been an easy ride. Sir Bradley Wiggins has faced major life-changing challenges throughout his life, both on and off the track.
